just saw the season 4 premier recently.

there was this one exchange pride had with agent boyd (apparently they ere in training together) that i found interesting.

(about some exercise or training situation)
her: "you cheated."
him: "i improvised."

so does that mean that pride "pulled a kirk" & changed a no-win scenario to one that he could win?

also; scott bakula looks thinner, especially in the face. it must be that vegan diet he's doing now.

Earlier this month CBS told investors on its quarterly earnings call that it’s in “active negotiations” with several outlets about syndication deals for “NCIS: New Orleans.”

....

“New Orleans,” like the other branches of the “NCIS” franchise, is an in-house production, so the money CBS Studios makes from off-network sales flows back to CBS Corp., all but ensuring a profitable run for the series.

CBS has cut a deal with TNT for rerun rights to “NCIS: New Orleans.”

Industry sources estimated that TNT is paying a per-episode fee of six figures for the procedural drama from CBS Television Studios. That’s far below the $2 million-plus that USA Network is shelling out for “NCIS: Los Angeles” repeat rights in a deal struck in 2009. A source said the deal involved a swap between CBS and Turner for rights that Turner already held to CBS’ “Hawaii Five-0,” which had been an under-performer for the cabler.

CBS Corp. will also shop “NCIS: New Orleans” for SVOD and broadcast syndication deals down the road. The mothership “NCIS” airs on USA and Netflix but “NCIS: Los Angeles” has not been available for streaming per an exclusivity clause in the USA deal. “NCIS: New Orleans” is one of only a few fresh broadcast TV dramas on the off-network market at the moment.

Shalita Grant, who plays Sonja Percy on “NCIS: New Orleans,” is leaving the drama, Variety has learned exclusively.

Sources say the departure is amicable and mutually agreed upon between the actress and the producers of the CBS procedural, which is shot in the Crescent City.

Grant recurred as Percy, a former ATF agent recruited to the NCIS unit, in the show’s first season. She was elevated to a series regular for the second, third, and fourth seasons of the program. Grant’s final episode will be the 17th installment of the fourth season, which will air April 3.

was this week & at least she got a proper farewell episode. not like brody, who they just wrote out after the mole storyline.

the ending with lasalle felt kind of flat though.

if they do decide to replace her, it will probably be either during the may sweeps month or at the beginning of the new season
