You can have 2 choices, presumably one for type of bed & one for type of pillow, and don't spare the intimate details of your sleeping arrangements

I must have little pillow. I have to curl my arm under it, otherwise my arm falls asleep and the rest of me does not. |

Once Ixalla was ready, Tathrelle cornered her. “Before we leave for work, I just want to tell you, I’m sorry. I guess I sort of shut down last night. I know you were in pain and I wasn’t too terribly supportive.” There was a wall covering in the main part of their chamber, something that Tathrelle hadn’t noticed before. She stared at it for a second and then shook her head. Outside, a disembodied voice announced from a hidden speaker, “It is time to travel to all daytime places of employment. Transportation sleighs are available and ready. Citizens are encouraged to thank the sleigh drivers at the end of a successful transport. The government recommends haste, and requests that all pregnant persons be given preference for seating in their designated areas.” A little distracted, Ixalla just asked, “Pain?” Untrustworthy - by me, actually. Some here. In fact, a few years back, I converted a chair back cushion into a sleeping pillow, similar but a bit more narrow than this ![]() It's perfect. I never want another pillow. Actually, I use to like a damn hard mattress too, but I've eased up, now that I'm older |

Mattress is soft to medium. Pillows - I have 4 normal ones, doubled up (1 on top of another) they cover the width of my bed, then I have a V shaped pillow. I have my head on the v pillow & then pull it around me, kinda like being hugged. It's partly under my body, which helps keep me on a slight angle. Due to my back, hip & shoulder I can not sleep fully on my back, front or side.

I almost choke to death, if I sleep on my back. I can't even lay back in a recliner & doze off, without waking up coughing & choking after several minutes |

If I sleep on my back my hips are so sore the next day I can hardly walk. pregnant women have a reflex that makes them panic if they sleep on their back. |

Medium mattress, and lots of pillows. We sometimes like to sit up in bed talking or reading, and having lots of pillows help support our backs !! |

I do. I toss and turn throughout the night so I cover most angles, on my back and my sides. However, I went with soft mattress and memory foam. I have both on my bed, all below a pillow top. My bed is like one big pillow. For pillows I like soft to medium. I like to sink into stuff. I can never do the firm mattress. I remember when I was young and staying with my grandmother along with my cousins in the summer it was nasty hot all night. And no matter how hot it got, the a/c got turned off at 9pm. And she only had one fan in the house and it was in her bedroom. So all of us kids would sleep on the floor of her bedroom. A blanket over her carpet. Talk about uncomfortable. Medium to firm mattress is the best for sex though Firm enough for you to get some traction, soft enough for a rebound effect. My first bed was a twin. I slept in that until I was 14. Then I got a full. I kept that until I was 35. At 5'10 im not that tall of a guy, but with the full I always had my knees bent so my feet were not on or over the foot board. That made sleeping on my back difficult. All of those beds had a medium firmness mattress. I supplemented them with memory foam, egg crate foam and pillow toppers. When I bought my house when I turned 35 I bought myself a new bedroom set. I moved up to a queen size bed. Now I can stretch out without my feet hanging over. I got the softest mattress i could find within a reasonable price. And as i mentioned i got a 2" memory foam and a 1" pillow topper. Even with the larger bed I still stay in a relatively small space on the right side, like I was still sleeping on the twin bed. Even when its just me and the cat. |

We have a king, bought when we owned a Doberman (that dog could stretch diagonally, seemingly, a good nine feet). It's particularly good when it's hot out, as you don't get the body warmth from the other person. We get closer as it gets colder out.
