It's the same kind of idiotic bs that caused our media to switch the pronunciations from Copenhaygen to Copenhoggen suddenly all at once. Or Her-ass-ment to Hairess-ment. Stupid fuckers.

Well, being an awkward sod, I tend to use my own prenunciation. Ok I'll go along with some things if I think it's about right, but if I have a different prenunciation to what is 'generally accepted' (limited, usually) then so be it !!

So, using the examples you suggest, I would pronounce them CopenHAgen, and HARRASSment, both of which sound right to me, and most important other people can understand !!

Just to finish, take this place for example. Most people think of it as Arch-Angels (as in a type of arch you find in most places), but I think of it as Ark-Angels (cos a-r-c-h can be pronounced arch, but also ark) !!

I like Batfleck. It sounds even better if you imagine the duck saying it.

I never got that. You say Huh-Rass, not Harris like Neil Patrick or Emmylou, thereby it is Huh-Rass-Ment, at least by my logic

Honestly though, isn't Affleck like the only guy they still do this idiocy to?

Not so much. She's very very pretty, but a little frail and skinny looking to play a kick ass amazon.

No, Kat Dennings would be much better.

She's pretty and all... but that's just what we need, another actress that looks just like Natalie Portman & Keira Knightley

Well she doesn't have to be another Xena Warrior Princess type, but it helps if she actually LOOKS like she could be a badass !!

Jason Momoa is in negotiations to join the cast of the untitled Batman-Superman movie being made by Warner Bros. and DC Entertainment, sources tell The Hollywood Reporter.

Zack Snyder is directing the Man of Steel follow-up, which is quickly turning into a who’s who of DC superheroes as Momoa joins Henry Cavill as Superman, Ben Affleck as Batman and Israeli supermodel and relative newcomer Gal Godot as Wonder Woman.

Hasn't she got superpowers?

Come to think of it, how does superman maintain his buff physique? To put on muscle and work off fat you have to exert yourself, but if he's mega strong naturally due to magic or whatever, what kind of exercise regimen would have an effect? How does he work up a sweat?

I reckon he'd be a flying ball of lard

Ben Affleck won't be the only one packing on muscle for the Man of Steel sequel.

In her first interview since being cast as Wonder Woman in the now superhero-laden film, Gal Gadot said that she has just started "the physical preparations" for the role—and they sound intense!

"A very serious training regimen—Kung Fu, kickboxing, swords, Jujutsu, Brazilian...1,000-and-1 things. I'll gain body mass," the Israeli actress told the Hebrew-language entertainment show Good Evening With Gai Pines, per a translation posted on Batman News.

Gadot, who's best known for playing Gisele in the Fast & Furious movies, doesn't seem to be slouch in the toughness department, but apparently fans were wondering whether she might be too slight to step into Wonder Woman's red boots, which have failed to find a foothold since Lynda Carter played the DC Comics hero in the 1970s.

The 28-year-old model-actress also served two years in the Israeli army, a mandatory term of service for men and women born there—and that's way more military service than most actors who've played superheroes can attest to!

"I represent the Wonder Woman of the new world," Gadot smiled. "Breasts...anyone can buy for 9,000 shekels and everything is fine. By the way, Wonder Woman is Amazonian, and historically accurate Amazonian women actually had only one breast. So, if I'd really go 'by the book'...it'd be problematic."

Well Angelina Jolie had to undergo some really intense training for her Lara Croft roles, and they turned out ok. So maybe we should give her the benefit of the doubt, until we see how she does ??
