They won't... one way or the other. I still hold out hope for an ending that favors him in some way. Nothing they could do now would make it a "Happy" ending though, but they can still do right by him in some way.... I really do hope There's been a lot of chatter about Walt staging that phone call for Skylar's benefit, even after their blowout. Another way of looking at it is that he's still succumbing to his mighyt hubris, in thinking he will still control this situation, and everything that is his, his family, his money, his business, his life "I've still got things to do" Whether you believe his other statements in that call or not, that line is not false. He's not done. Interestingly enough, as horrid & scary as he was, he was also pitiful & ruined, & it's clear he won't take that lying down |

I wondered what show people were watching again. Walt would never think anyone can lie to him because he thinks he is too smart to lie to. |

The most telling thing I saw was Dean Norris on this weeks Talking Bad. He said as a viewer he often gets a little annoyed that there's these people on "Team Walt" who will back him no matter what awful thing he does next. He said even Vince Gilligan has tired of it Face it. Walt Broke BAD. He's BAD! Maybe he wasn't always, but he sure as hell is now & they'll be no denying it by the end Have you watched any of those minisodes? That Wedding Day one is a must see. Minutes before Hank get's married to Marie, he confesses to Walt, his best man, that he cheated on Marie the night before. It's funny & telling & in hindsight... tragic, & Walt even says to him "So you broke bad once... Move forward" |

that is funny. My computer isn't good with video but I'll try it on my tablet. The reaction over there is crazy. Walt's conversation with Skylar is the same as him telling Jessie about Jane. Skylar betrayed him by telling Jr. who he really was. She is no longer his family. Jr. protected Skylar from walt and now he is no longer his family. He took Holly because she was all he had left. Then she did the same thing by asking for mommy so he left her behind. That conversation with Skylar was Walt revealing himself more than anything else in the whole series. He has never lived up to his potential. He walked away from Gray Matter which was his chance at being relevant and he has been dying inside ever since. He sees the drug business as his redemption. He has been the best finally. And Skylar just doesn't appreciate his success. I think Skylar has made a deal with the DEA and Walt is coming back to kill her. |

No, but I think too much has happened with the white power gang for them to be overlooked in all this. I think the "Things to do" that Walt mentioned must involve them I've been wrong plenty, but I feel like Heisenberg will rise again. I only hope Jesse can end it, or it may be a very hard ending if Walt is triumphant all around |

I was thinking even if he never came back, it wouldn't be long before he was cooking again somewhere else. |

thanks awol. But I totally disagree with it lol now lots of theories that walt is coming back to rescue jessie. Why would he do that? maybe jessie escapes and takes the family hostage? |

It seems more likely that Walt will return for the Nazi gang, and near the end find Jesse in some fashion, for the final showdown Funnily enough, none of the fan predictions seem like they'll happen. At this point, I think they might have something none of us have thought of, which is pretty damn brilliant if that's the case One thing is certain. Walt = Bad... And I hope Jesse outlives it |

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2013/09/27/breaking-bad-predictions_n_3997217.html?utm_hp_ref=entertainment&ir=Entertainment&utm_hp_ref=entertainment many many predictions of how it could end. And one where Walter is able to walk away from it. |

Some things I found interesting & might hold water Walt finding a way to be face to face with his family once more. I hadn't considered that but it makes a lot of sense Lydia going to prison rather than dying. Prison would be way worse for that uptight %&#$@ Gray Matter was just a catalyst. We're done with them Jesse has photographic evidence of his death on Hank's phone still. That could play a part, but probably not I'm still putting all my chips on Jesse killing Walt & himself to finish it all. There's no success or happiness or even relief beyond that for these characters. They have driven a freight train straight to Hell, & it would be somewhat unfulfilling to not put an ultimate end to it I'm not saying it's the only way to play this out. In fact, even if they play it otherwise, I'm still certain I'll be fulfilled & impressed My only real prediction for the end to all this is that the "Heisenberg" will be in the top 5 Halloween costumes this year |

It's only boring in the context that people had built it up to some kind of monumental climax, when in fact it was the only ending that could work. It was fitting. He's a cancer riddled, dying old man, who must rely on intelligence to defeat power It kind of reminded me of how Mike died. There was no fanfare there either Besides, I wasn't bored at all by how calculated he was throughout. It was fascinating. How the Schultz couple, who'd once pitied him like a loser, were now frozen in fear by him. It wasn't just satisfying, it was mesmerizing... yet again |
