oooh I don't know. Jessie's never killed anyone because he decided to. I don't know if he can yet. But he is clearly off the rails

But Jesse is a murderer & he knows that. He's seeing himself as truly despicable, and maybe he is, but he wants to be a good guy. I'm just thinking that the ultimate evolution for him as a character is to realize, being a despicable man, that the best act of goodness he could offer is to rid the world of bad... Walt (And maybe even himself)

I've been waiting for him to get there. Not sure if there's enough time, or if that's their goal for him. Anything less seems like short changing his character. It's clear that both Walt & Hank are on paths to pursue their goals doggedly, but what of Jesse? Where's he headed if not to realization that HE is the one that has to stop this? After all, I'm sure he realizes that this is really all HIS fault for not ignoring Walt on day one. Without Jesse at the onset, none of this would have happened, because Walt couldn't have done any of it without him, or at least that is probably Jesse's perspective

I don't think he knows the worst of what happened. What we know that makes Walt truly evil. Sure the kid getting shot was bad, but I don't know if that was really Walt's fault. The need for the chemical set in motion events that led to it, but that was pretty hard to foresee. He suspects he killed Mike, but honestly, I think Mike would have killed Mike too. Everyone else chose the life and knew it might lead to their deaths.

The things that we know that prove to us that Walter is evil is letting Jesse's girlfriend die and poisoning Brock to manipulate Jesse.

This last episode illustrates it better than any before. Saul's guys consider stealing Walt's money & the one guy points out that Walt orchestrated the murder of ten men in prison within a 2 minute window, just to keep them quiet. That plus the fact that Walt killed perhaps the biggest Mexican drug cartel associate in the U.S, by bombing a nursing home & Heisenberg's street cred is monumental

Walt may die, but Heisenberg will go on. (Maybe through Todd's crew, unless they get stopped) It's a horrific brand name now, but what's more important is that Jesse knows Walt did this, Hank knows he did this. Even Saul knows. Every week has a funny scene, & this week's was Saul suggesting that Walt send Hank on a "Trip to Belize"

Saul is afraid of Walt, & for a time, so was Jesse, but I don't think he is anymore. He's past the point of giving a crap about his own life, & as Walt can testify to, that makes him dangerous

walt didn't murder 10 guys in prison. He just coincidentally knew a guy who had an uncle who could do it. A guy sal introduced him to. Walter has had incredibly good luck at running across the people he needs at the right time. But you are right. His street cred is huge. Ever since the atm incident.

I really like the Todd character. How he's so polite and all american and a sociopath all at the same time.

Walter has had incredibly good luck at running across the people he needs at the right time.
There's no doubt about that. Plus in reality he has a fair amount of cowardice in him at times that would be a fatal flaw in anyone else in his position, but that's not how anyone sees him anymore, because his manipulation has been so excellent that not only doesn't Hank truly know who Walt is, nobody does

Everybody thinks Walt killed those 10 guys, and that's all that matters. Plus, it was his rather ingenious plan that made it possible. Jesse sure thinks Walt is an ever present danger just by the last look he gave him

We'll have to see how things play out to see if anything will become of that. One thing is for sure, the story between Walt & Jesse isn't over yet, in the least. It's easy to lose track seeing how Hank has jumped to the forefront lately

I think it will be interesting too if Skylar ever finds out some of the stuff he has done.

She certainly seems to have taken on a new more sympathetic attitude

Any predictions for this season?

Mine are...

Walt will kill someone. Perhaps several people

Junior will finally learn about his dad in full

Jesse will in some way bring about the demise of Walt, perhaps killing him himself

Alternate things or things I think could happen

Walt gets away with it

Hank dies

Somehow Walt will end up dealing with the remainder of the Heisenberg syndicate

wow, did not see that coming. Thought this was the last we'd see of Jessie. But then he figured it out in the end.

I knew he wasn't going anywhere... This is all I've been saying, for like 2 or 3 years now, & people thought I was nuts. At some point Jesse will know that the only way to stop Walt is by doing it himself. He is the ONLY person who knows everything about Walt

This is not a show which plays games with trick plots or misleads or surprise endings. We have all known the entire time what had to happen, & that is what they will do. It is what they have always done. We knew Fring would die because of Walt. We knew Hank would find out about Walt. We knew Gale would have to die to keep Walt going. Hell, I almost predicted Mike's death down to the episode. I even knew that some day Saul would have the unfortunate event that made him point out how he has the WORST security guard ever! Tell me everyone didn't have that thought every time they saw the guy. lol

The beauty & magnificence of the show is in HOW they get there. Walt gives him a "Hug". Who freaking saw THAT coming? Not me in a million years. So many viewers actually still think Walt has goodness in him. He's so good at being bad, he has real people fooled, on top of the other characters on the show

Is it any wonder why people on this show win Emmys? By the end of this show, there will be no doubt in anyone's mind that Walt is all bad, & contrarily, Jesse will have slogged through a world of shit trying to find out how to make something righteous & just happen, & if the show has any conscience at all, they'll give it to him, both barrels.

The X-Factor is Hank. We all knew from day one that Walt wanted to tell Hank "Fuck You", ever since the old days when Hank, the macho cop would tease the nerdy guy. Well, Walt's said it now. The only question is now that macho man has been soul crushingly castrated, how will it end for him? This I still wonder about. Will he have some play in Walt's finish or will he fall prey to the Bad Man? I wonder :mojo:

yeah, Hank will be interesting.

couldn't believe that guy telling me how Walt came back to Jessie's house the night his girlfriend died because he was trying to save them. What the hell? He left to get a little liquid courage because he knew 2 junkies running around with a bag of cash was going to attract too much attention.

I think Walter still thinks he's a good guy
Possibly, but does that really matter? Because he can rationalize away the awful things he's done does not make him less bad. He knows he's done terrible things. He knows he is doing them still. He knows he will continue to do them if he thinks he needs to.

That he isn't resolute enough to stand there with a box cutter & slit a man's throat, like Fring is of less consequence than the reality that he's willing to go to similar depths. That's all it took for Heisenberg to get such a hefty reputation

The last days of this story have Walt looking terribly rough, acquiring poison, & machine guns. This show dares you to look at that and accept it, knowing full well they will make you question you own eyes till the end, and think, hope or pray there is some good left in him

My instincts tell me there won't be, but I could be wrong of course. The only question is will goodness prevail by someone else's hand? I hope it will, & that hand is Jesse's

I did it. I figured out Jesse's plan. It's the last thing anyone would expect. He'll go back in the meth business, undercover for the DEA. Todd, his uncle, & Lydia will jump at the chance to get him back to save their floundering business. He's the next best thing to getting Walt. No one knows the DEA has him.

He will destroy the Heisenberg empire from within, leaving Walt without any contacts to call on, by getting them all busted, Todd, the uncle, Lydia & maybe even Saul and his crew... A Sting setup

That is how Walt will end up alone and on the run. Once you cripple the network, that's when you get Bin Laden. It won't matter that he's "retired"

That's how they will begin the end with Walt and his machine gun & poison, presumably going after someone, maybe Jesse or Hank or who knows... Maybe the machine gun is for a standoff, like Scarface, and the ricin is for suicide

That's got to be it!

I'm thinking that going after Walt 'where he really lives' is the key. Where he really lives now is his ego. I think he will somehow damage the heisenberg legend and that will draw Walt back in
