Hey everybody needs something cool and fashionable to wear....there are (whats the word I want?) levels of common and/or fashion sense to consider though. No one wants to see a plus size girl wearing something that works for a sleek thin chick (showing the belly, tight shorts, etc). Come on ladies. Now personally I like a girl with substance that I can grab on to and not worry that I am going to break or bruise her - I am not a fan of the rail thin or even athletic chicks. I like a little meat on her bones, dangerous curves, average build and lines that just make my eyes look at you all over. This is not to say that I condone letting yourself go, but I do believe that the average is a girl that has a little bit of "thick" - not a ghetto booty, not necessarily "junk in the trunk", but yeah, I want to be able to squeeze and there is a little give when I do and not feel your skeletal structure....a healthy girl is an incredibly sexy girl and I wants it. and there's no reason why "hipster" clothes manufacturers should leave them out. As far things like lingerie, sure its nice and all, but honestly I'd rather see you casual, or a nice dress, or just plain naked. I know that it makes some of you girls feel good inside, but lingerie never really did anything for me...For the purpose of attraction and arousal, I see it as an obstruction....I'm already attracted and aroused by YOU. The only sexy thing about your underwear and/or clothing, is the way you tell me you want me to come to bed, by taking it off and throwing it at me. |

But the media or advertisers want us to all believe that people like you Denny do not exist. That if you are larger than a 2 you are fat and unhealthy |

I am a dying breed. The odd thing though is that while sought after and maybe even coveted, apparently the packaging still matters because try as I might I still cant find a girl and Im tired, broke, frustrated tired of relaying my story to every new date and still cant figure you girls out these days...liars, false advertisers, game players and partiers.. But I suppose I digress. |

Speaking of dating, I've got something of a gripe I'd like to voice along these lines. I get a little annoyed every time I see a personal ad where some vapid female has the nerve to refer to herself by the absolutely moronic acronym "BBW" & write that if guys can't deal with that & accept her as she is, then they shouldn't waste her time, & yada yada yada. Then, a half a paragraph later, she describes what she's looking for in a man, & states that he should be slim, fit, athletic, muscular, & so forth. Now hold on a minute. Let those who make bullshit claims of a stone house be the first to have glass cast at them. I'm seeing this kind of hypocrisy more & more of late. That because we are trying (Rightfully so) to extend the boundaries of what is considered beautiful to the realm of women that might be defined on the BMI chart as overweight or even obese, that is not an open invitation for them to develop a sense of entitlement in judging people who are literally exactly the same as them. Obese women can call themselves "BBW" & that liberates them from prejudice, but Fat men are just fat & undesirable? I call bullshit on you ma'am. I put this one into the ever growing category of "prejudicial blowback" i.e. it should be socially acceptable for someone of a race that was historically oppressed to be granted the right to be racist, as compensation. That's bullshit, & so is this |

Wait.... Serena is 5'9" & weighs about 155lbs & Venus is 6'1" & weighs about 160lbs Does that really happen? I admit a bit of ignorance in women's sizes & such, but do women with athletic physiques get categorized as "Plus Sized", i.e. professional boxer Laila Ali, who is 5"10 & fought at 160lbs & who is, in more ways than one, an absolute knockout. That makes no sense at all ![]() ![]() Good Lord she's hot |

Like Violet said. If they were models, they would be considered plus size. If you are bigger than a 2 in the modeling/acting world you are plus size. Look at the flack that Kelly Clarkson gets. |
