Even the most organized of us have items that we just can't part with. What do you have way too much of?

I have way too many clothes that don't fit anyone.

Live long and prosper.....!!

Knick-knacks (odds and ends) that each have a memory attached, some from decades ago, which I'm loathe to get rid of. Madam has a bunch of stuff that relate back to her late parents, which I know she'll never want to lose !!

Books. Ill-fitting clothes. Serving pieces which were wedding presents but we rarely entertain so they are, essentially, lovely dust-collectors.

I have too much belly.
Once Ixalla was ready, Tathrelle cornered her. “Before we leave for work, I just want to tell you, I’m sorry. I guess I sort of shut down last night. I know you were in pain and I wasn’t too terribly supportive.” There was a wall covering in the main part of their chamber, something that Tathrelle hadn’t noticed before. She stared at it for a second and then shook her head.

Outside, a disembodied voice announced from a hidden speaker, “It is time to travel to all daytime places of employment. Transportation sleighs are available and ready. Citizens are encouraged to thank the sleigh drivers at the end of a successful transport. The government recommends haste, and requests that all pregnant persons be given preference for seating in their designated areas.”

A little distracted, Ixalla just asked, “Pain?”

This is probably obvious... but... Star Trek stuff! I have so damn much... If I got rid of it I'd have a lot more room around here.... I just can't seem to part with it.... ANY of it.

I have too many books, too, that in all likelihood I'll never read. I do all my reading on the internet it seems.

I know! It felt all weird even saying it.

I figure it like this: What I REALLY need is another room with plenty of shelving. :shran:

There can be only one

I dont have too much anything. I live rather spartan
The unambiguous and defined essence of a truest friend, is a single soul, shared in two bodies. A person who completes you so, that it pains you when they hurt, and sustains you when they are with you, no matter how far.

I have too many ST: Into Darkness reviews.

Gadgets. It's hard to believe that a guy who at one time lived out of a van with nothing more than some clothes & survival needs now has more gadgetry in every room than furniture.

Computers, printer, scanner, stereo, widescreen tv, dvd, bluray, PS3, cable box, about 4 or 5 remote controls, cable modem, wireless routers, microwave, blender, smoke & co2 detectors, electric razor, digital clocks, cell phone, tablet, laptop, GPS, USB flash drives, a studio full of keyboards, monitors, soundboards, recorders, pedals, FX devices, microphones, battery charger, power adapters, & major appliances

I got so much that the bedroom has a complete entertainment center now. Even though I have top of the line surge protecting power ports, I still live in fear of a damn electrical fire

I swear, this 3 bedroom trailer home is like a giant sci-fi gizmo pod. The 22 year old me would probably be sickened, but I gotta tell you, it's pretty nice living here. I guess the nerd in me beat out the hippie :liz:

When I shut off all the lights to go to bed, the place still looks like bloody Christmas, with all the LED lights on all the gadgets :teehee:

Wissa - would be interested in downloading that, dyu have a web address please ??

Mojo - used to be a total gadget fan, and I too had a problem squeezing into my lounge at times, but took the problem in-hand and literally went around the house making a list of what I needed and what I could live without. Painful to see it go but had to be done. That was before I married, and now Madam helps me to 'stay on the straight and narrow' !!

I can - l i v e - without all of it, but nearly all of it serves a purpose I - l i k e - having served. It's all neatly arranged enough, so not really an issue, but funny how when the question of what it is that you possess too much of gets asked, that's the thing that jumps out
