Yet its the same military they defame that ensures their first ammendment rights to protest in the first place. They are probably all butt fucking each other as soon as they close the doors. You know what they say about people who obess over something, even if they are trying to discredit it.

Essentially it was saying that Phelps was one of these doomsday/rapture types that are so particular to the USA, but part of his belief was that his chosen few would prove their worthiness by how much they were hated by the world at large. So all that grandstanding and obnoxious behaviour really comes from a peculiar masochistic need to be despised.
