Posts: 1,750 Group: 1000 post Angel Ent Member #6,007 Joined: March 26, 2011	The standard colours of marshmallows are white and pink, and when you buy a bag of them you usually get a mixture of the two colours. Correct? I'm particularly interested in the Canadian view of this important issue.

I take great pride and meticulously and patiently turning and roasting the perfect marshmallow.

Posts: 36,542 Group: DS9 Nirvana Member #25 Joined: January 17, 2006	9 times out of 10 marshmallows are white here in the US. unless they're those like wissa posted. sometimes they're rolled in toasted coconut or some powdered flavoring like strawberry. https://www.facebook.com/jetpuffed/app_152761904847841 years ago the governor of new york (i forget who it was) was on the letterman show and was talking about a new tax they put on snacks. they then had to decide what was a "snack" and what wasn't. there was a big debate over marshmallows, whether they were a food or a snack. it was finally decided that the big ones were food (and not taxable) and the mini ones were snacks (& therefore taxable)

The same they figured it out was by leaving out a Jaffa Cake & a biscuit - biscuits go soft when they go off, but cake goes hard. All that just to decide what the tax should be!

Ooh no, they taste like marshmallows but you can't toast them, I think.
