Didn't help that there was a big scandal about the amount of sugar in them !! However, some enterprising ice cream shops on the coast took the idea, selling drinks made of real crushed ice and syrup and I believe those are still popular !!

If someone were to call it that, you all would know what they meant then?

I have no idea what a Slush Puppie is other than for possibly a horny trekslut-monkie LOL

Rethinking this, it can go either way depending on location as well. Out here on the island, Ices are more like sherbet, and in NYC they are of the flavored shaved ice variety
