Incidentally, if I start a sentence with a word that helps me pretend I'm smart, I put a comma after it. So I guess that's a 4th

Mojo, don't forget to punctuate when you're addressing someone.

Haha, did I start a discussion about comma rules now?
The punctuating when adressing someone in letters is actually different in british and american english. In american english you have to do it I think, in british english you can (I hope I'm not mixing that up)
Our teacher kind of threatened that he would check our letter for british speling if we didn't have any commas in it so I always do them because I think that my spelling might be a mix of british and american english...

I love how you say American English & British English.

You'd think English, would be the same no matter what country you're in.

Live long and prosper.....!!

Well, it's not the same language even in England - Cornish English is different from Tyneside English or Norfolk English. Yes it's the same language, but different dialects and accents can have different meanings !!

Coming to live in America, I had problems sometimes understanding and being understood. Though when friends drop into their native language, I can talk in a broad Yorkshire accent, which is a polite way of telling them I've no idea what they're saying !!
R.I.P. Gummy, we'll miss you bro

That's how you learn it in school xD Because there are some things which are spelled differently, like color/colour or neightbor/neightbour.
In school we mostly learned british english but we actually had a year of american english as well xD

Aaand even in germany there are a lot of different dialects, I'd have a hard time understanding some people from Bavaria, it's almost like another language xD

Goood advice :)

I actually don't understand why there aren't more Doctor Who fans xD

I haven't seen much of the old ones, though. But I'm planning to knit the 4th Doctor's scarf, it's terrific, I think. It's just going to be preetty expensive :(

I can crotchet, cant knit for the life of me. If i were you i would go for the 10 ft version and not the 20ft version (yes it got up to 20 feet...)
Ive watched a few of the old ones, but I havent seen any with 5th, 6th, 7th, or 8th
Tom Baker is an awesome Doctor lol, kinda gawky looking though :rachel:

I can't crochet, I can knit simple things, I am pretty good at scarfes and I once made some socks for my grandma which were suuch hard work. I'm actually kind of set on this version http://www.craftycrafty.tv/doctor-who-scarf-thumb-410x311.jpg
It's not for me, it's for my boyfriend and we both liked that one best. It's kind of a win-win situation, I love knitting scarfes but I have enough scarfes and pretty much everyone I know already got a scarf as a present from me because I just enjoy doing them xD And he's a HUGE Doctor Who nerd, I think he saw all of them xD There used to be a Woolworth just next to the language school I go to and it had a lot of the colors I needed and they were all really cheap. But I was kind of broke at that time and I couldn't buy it and when I went there the next time this Woolworth was totally closing down :o ) So I'll have to get cheap wool somewhere else....

(and I'd say this totally is a forum for geeking out xD )

The scarf is enough for the two of you to wear at the same time XD sucks about the woolworths though.

Blink, perfect episode to get started on! watch it tonight! (best if you have netflix)

Haha, it is. I'm really looking forward to knitting it, hope I'll find some nice wool still. Woolworth used to be good for a lot of cheap house supplies as well, I really don't have a lot of money so it was pretty neeat.

Blink seriously is one of the best ones, I LOVE Moffat. Also it has my faavorite Doctor
