Now I just have to come up with a nice avatar and banner, I can't decide xD

Like your avatar a lot by the way, even though I think I'll have a hard time with Cumberbatch being in it, he's just Sherlock for me.

Thank you :)

I found it on tumblr, there's lots of gif images on there. I've never really watched him in Sherlock but just think he's going to make a fab bad guy for Trek, he just looks the part!

We have theme weeks from time to time here, this week until next Monday is Trek Movie week, you don't have to join in, but it might help you decide on an avatar & you could get a banner to match :)

I loved Sherlock, I thought it was fantastic. Cumberbatch is just one of those guys who kind of stays a certain character for me, like Picard, Patrick Steward always is Picard to me, even in Hamlet and X-men xD

If I have time I'll try to make myself something more fitting with theme week, I'm not really happy with how my avatar turned out...

Thank you very much :)

And oooh a Game of Thrones fan :) (I really like the books even though sometimes in between I felt like throwing them on the wall xD )
Very much so a fan.

I found the show and then Stigmata, probably one of the two classiest guys here, turned me on the the books. Which are always better than the shows.

Again, welcome aboard.

I watched the show first, too, season 1 was on TV over here and I admit that it took me some time to warm up to it but then I was hooked. And afterwards I read the books which reeally are a whole lot better, but I still felt like throwing them against the wall in between, especially book 3 xD He's just too cruel towards his characters :(

Yeah I'm like with some actors, David Hewlett from Stargate Atlantis will always be Dr McKay to me, no matter what.

I like your avi :)

Welcome! :D

I'm American. We're the last people on Earth who should correct anybody's English

I also greatly enjoy Cumberbatch's Sherlock

Thank you :)
I guess there isn't much you can do wrong with a Doctor Who icon xD

Aand thaanks, Mojochi :)
Weeell, I like my english being corrected, I want to learn it right. I just found out some time ago that comma rules actually exist in english, my former english told me that there weren't any...Can't stand comma rules...

I'm really looking forward to season 3, Moffat is the perfect writer for this series (he already was my favorite writer on Doctor Who)

Yes, we do have comma rules in English. I personally remember roughly 2 of them, maybe 3

I'm studying languages at the moment and our english teacher (who is an American) told us about them. But in school we never had native speakers as teacher, which is kind of sad I think.
And comma rules in english are still easier than in german, I think..

Comma rules I use

1. If I say something, & then I want to say something else later, I put a comma before the & or because

2. If I write a thought that relates to the next thought, I put a comma after the first one.

3. If I have several words, nouns, examples in a sentence together, all but the last one gets a comma after them.

The rest of the time I use commas like parsley. I just put them where ever I think it's most decorative.

Haha, thanks, apart from the inofficial fourth rule my english teacher would totally agree with you.
But I think american english actually has more commas than british english if I'm correct.
But I really don't think american english is that bad, I love american and british english xD
