And everyone has to get their pound of flesh. That's a lot of air-time to fill, especially when you're not going to cover anything meaningful and in-depth.

He was someone that I looked up to for many years, mostly as inspiration as I am an avid cyclist. I don't know that I feel let down that much though. He's still a great cyclist and apparently is doing what is industry standard (as they cannot give his titles to the no. 2's because they doped too). And I don't put too much emotional stock into celebrities.

But I've seen a couple interviews with team mates since then and he appears to be a bit of a monster. But still, my caring is limited. I think to get to that level of any sport or industry you probably have to be a bit insane. I just want the whole thing to go away now

One guy said that he may now face a prison sentence because he denied the doping charges in court or something & now he's admitted it, he lied under oath. Can't tell you who this guy was but he seemed to be after blood by the way he was speaking & what he wanted to happen to him.
