I'm pretty good with the year, was in banking for over 18 years so the year was important.

Randomer than you since 1992

I've been having constant blonde moments over daylight savings.

Queensland is the only state that doesn't do it, but the computer clock and foxtel schedule do change over with the rest of the stupid country, so it's annoying having to remember that all the electronic clocks are an hour fast while the battery clocks are on the right time and that everything on tv is on an hour earlier than it says in the tv guide.

And then of course when it ends, it takes a while to remember the clock is right now.

I've utterly given up on keeping years and months straight. It takes a couple of weeks to get used to the new month and a couple of months to get used the new year. I just have to rely on other people hopefully being able to tell me what day it is! :lol:

you still have time. according to the butterball hotline;

Quote:

We recommend thawing your turkey in the refrigerator in its original wrapping. Place it on a shallow tray on the bottom shelf and allow 1 day for every 4 pounds of turkey. If you don’t have time to thaw in the refrigerator, use the cold water method – completely submerge the turkey, breast side down, in cold water. Change the water every 30 minutes to hasten thawing and allow about 30 minutes per pound of turkey. Some general thawing time guidelines are as follows:

the guidlines are here

Cause daylight savings is crappy and we are to only smart state.

I actually think its cause we have lots of farmers. I'm against it, I think it's outdated
