I was peckish, so put a ready-made individual steak and kidney pie into the microwave, and zapped it. Taking it out though, the freaking thing exploded. Blew the crust lid right off, meat and gravy all over the place. No idea what caused it, but it gave me a laugh !! And yes, I had taken it out of the wrapper and the foil tray, before zapping !!

Posts: 36,542 Group: DS9 Nirvana Member #25 Joined: January 17, 2006	maybe it was a build up of steam? my dad used to make eggs in the microwave in a small microwave-safe bowl. my mom always told him to poke it to release the built up pressure. one time he didn't, made a sandwich out of it and when he bit into the sandwich it exploded! eggs was on the ceiling & my dad had a burnt lip. after that he made sure to poke the eggs several times when he made them in the microwave.
