I've actually been going though this age crisis lately. I'm sneaking up on 50 which doesn't bother me that much. What bothers me is the next milestone is 60. There is no way to soften that one. It's just old. And It's not even an "oh my god I'm so old" or a "oh my god I look so old" because I don't feel any older and I don't really think I look older. In fact when I hear someone say "well, I'm 45 now..." I'm thinking "and? what does that have to do with anything?" It's more a wonderment of when the heck did this happen? how has so much time gone by? how did all my friends get middle aged.

And the only tape decks were reel-to-reel, but you could record a shed-load of music etc !! The Ford Popular motor car was often referred to as a 'sit-up-and-beg-puddle-jumper', and had to be started by turning a starting handle at the front !! Hair was long, shirts were colourful, and 'hipster' jeans were tight !! School was a total pain in the ass, so no change there then !!
