Harry's a bit of a 'wild child' of the royals, and get's up to all kinds of stuff. I remember he was photographed at a party, dressed as a nazi and wearing a swastika armband. Sadly his brother prince William, or his father prince Charles, haven't been able to get him to understand that he's in the public eye, and that what he does reflects on the royals as a whole !! The media, of course, make the most of these things. Rather like they do with Britney Spears, or Paris Hilton. Though while they do it deliberately to shock, Harry just seems totally inept and stumbles into these situations. Kids, eh ?!

Can you imagine if you wantd to actually be something other than a smiling hand shaker? what a miserable life that would be? the only legitimate reason I can think of to abolish the british royalty is because no one should be forced to live like that. and I think if harry had to take the throne he would do wonderfully. They are all very well trained to do their duty.

I don't think you're really disagreeing with me. You're just touching on a different aspect of the extreme nature of being a high profile socialite. They are the highest in the world. It's a social class thing, & the higher up on it one gets, the more constrictive it becomes. Ask a Kennedy, if you can find one still living. Fame, fortune, & social status all combine in a way that isolates a person, & they all end up imprisoned in their own life Why do you think Elvis drugged himself to death by the time he was 42?

But I think it was because of that, that it had more impact. I mean, the Heir to the throne, sitting in a dustbin (trashcan), and doing a 'Goon Show' type sketch ?? Let's just say that it didn't advance his credibility, but it did add fuel to the 'get rid of the monarchy' debate that was prevalent at that time !!
