So I got around to watching all of it - the Vegas episode next to last for the series was cool, but I have a question regarding the FINAL series episode.... When Ronen was in the infirmary at the end and some random girl walked in to check on him and was with him out on the balcony at the end.....who the hell was she? I never saw her before in the series and they were playing her out to have been there a while as a regular and as being very interested in him and sort of close for a while and what about "Todd" who was on the city at that point....bit of a loose open end there. |

Haven't seen the last episode in ages so I can't remember enough to help you on you second question, but as for the first, she was there in a couple of previous episodes Her name was Amelia something... Banks? I think. There was definitely a scene where she was flirting with Ronon before the last episode. I think it was the episode they were stuck in the infirmary because Micheal had taken control of Atlantis. And now that I think about it, I think Todd's 'ending' was left ambiguous in the final episode because they planned for a movie that never happened. Edit: I looked her up, she was in 11 episodes. And I thought she was only in about 3

Hmmmm....must have been on some of the ones I skipped over - I tend to do that when I see that the episode doesnt really adhere to or carry forward the main plot as I watch. I kinda figured they'd have to have a movie afterwards - shame that it didnt happen. I really wish that SG-U went further than it did too - It was just the right amount of high brow and consequential storytelling that suits me |

By "all of it" I meant got through all 5 seasons. You know I dont do filler episodes, I just watch them long enough to realize they are filler, and then skip them to the last couple of minutes where they usuaully do a reveal of some relevant nugget. |

I like that description of SGU. Still missing that show. Did you skip over episodes of that as well? |

Another thing that really kept my interest regarding SG-U was its ability to rivet me to it. I found myself getting locked in to each episode as it progressed, and the way each ended, having to watch one more, and then another. When a show does that, it basically defies the purpose of "filler" episodes.....so no I didnt skip over any of it |

Yep that was her name. The episode you're thinking of is "The Prodigal" - she impressed him with her fighting skills, but they weren't stuck in the infirmary, they were in a room of the main control room, the control room annexe. Think he was also impressed that she was the second one to wake up after being hit by a wraith stunner - showing how tough she was (Woolsey woke up last lol) Most of the writers & directors had Amelia originally in the role of Chuck's girlfriend, though no evidence is given on scene of this (it's in commentary on one of the episodes) She's featured pretty much through Seasons 4 & 5. ![]() They were planning Season 6 when it got cancelled so moved focus to a movie that would pick up where Season 5 left off. It was going to be called "Stargate: Excintion". However. after Extinction was announced by Syfy Channel in August 2008, it spent some two and a half years in limbo. Brad Wright finally announced on April 17, 2011, that MGM would not be producing this or any other Stargate movies in the near future. The script has been written by Joseph Mallozzi and Paul Mullie, but Stargate: Extinction will most likely not be produced. Todd was going to be in the film to round off what happened to him but it wouldn't focus on him, he basically ends up in the hands of the Government but Woolsey & Shepherd "rescue" him. Oh yep Wissa please pop this in Norad thank you
