Firefly's birthday today

But I've always worked evenings, and it was well before DVRs were as popular so I never had a chance to love it until it came out on dvd and Serenity was made.

Fox cancelled it after twelve, as they have an aversion to good sci-fi (Firefly and the Sarah Connor Chronicles come to mind). I break out my DVDs of it regularly, watched Jaynestown and Our Mrs. Reynolds yesterday. "Hell, if I wanted schooling I'd have gone to school." - one of my favorite Jayne Cobb quotes.
