Speaking of your Highlander ref, Mojo, for those who may not know, Adrian Paul was also in an sf series version of ''War of the Worlds,'' back in the late eighties, or early nineties.

someone may have mentioned this before;
but at some point hugh jackman will be too old to play the supposedly ageless wolverine. make-up can only do so much, IMHO.

I can't find the article, but he is quoted as saying that he will only do one more Wolverine solo movie, and then perhaps one more X-Men movie if it's in the next couple of years. He was saying that he's getting too old to play the part.

The dancing gopher from Caddyshack looks more like a groundhog than a gopher. Gophers have longer, nastier teeth & claws, the claws especially, better for burrowing with

It's just impossible not to notice how much she's patterned herself after a young Doris Day

Cumberbatch is 38? Jesus, I thought he was 10 years younger than that. The one flaw I use to think about Sherlock was that they cast Holmes & Watson too far apart in age. Martin Freeman is 42. I thought he was pushing 50 :lol:

This is not what 38 in Hollywood looks like

Every time I see that Capitol One commercial with Samuel L. Jackson & he says "What's in your wallet?" I can't help but also hear "The one that says Bad MuthaFucka"

I always thought the first time I heard TTFN was from Tigger. I'm watching BATMAN and CatWoman said it.

Who knew?

TTFN (tata for now), oy that's going back a bit, a DJ (who's name I can't remember) said it at the end of his radio show, back in the 70s !!

Just looked him up on google, the DJ was called Jimmy Young, I remember it well !!

Sees what you learn. But if that's the 70s, Catwoman still said it first. I guess I'm living under a rock lol

I thought a continuity error was like if someone had gotten a cut on their face & then a moment later they're shown without it. I went to IMDB.com to see if anyone had entered it into the goofs page. No one had. So I entered it as a character error :idon'tknow:

Yeah, basically anything 'out of the norm' for that character, would be classed as a continuity error, like not wearing their sunglasses when operating their neutralizer, which they would normally wear !!

I thought a continuity error was just something that disrupted the "Continuous" flow of the movie, like a shirt having the sleeves rolled up one moment & then they're down the next, & maybe they are back up a second later, because they hadn't noticed when shooting. That alters the flow of continuity. Similarly, a left handed child becomes a right handed adult, etc...

This didn't alter the continuity. It was an in universe contradiction. He didn't do a thing we know he's supposed to do, like if Superman was in a room with some Kryptonite but it didn't effect him. I entered it as a character error, because it was something the character should have but didn't do, but in Superman's case, it's more a context error

If J had been wearing his sunglasses & then in the next shot after the pulse, they were off, & then they were on again a second later, I'd be calling that a continuity error. They just made the mistake of him never using them, because they wanted his teary reaction instead
