Misfits? That's one of those shows everyone told me to watch and I never did. Don't think it was a BBC production though. A few of the actors from that have turned up in other things like Game of Thrones, and the black actor was in a strange paranoid conspiracy series called Utopia that I quite liked.
It's worth seeing, at least the first 2 or 3 seasons. It's got a good humor about it, & really likable characters

would the world is not enough (james bond movie) be better if sophie marceau & denise richards switched roles?
marceau was about 33 when the movie came out & richards was 28. marceau seemed older, so maybe she could've pulled off the nuclear physicist role better. but then again, richards probably wouldn't be believable with the big twist with the elektra king character. denise richards isn't much of an actress, IMHO.

 I think her body is what gets cast, the rest of her including her acting skills are just along for the ride.

Totally agree, when I saw they'd cast Denise Richards as a nuclear physicist I almost fell off the sofa in shock. Sophie Marceau as the villainess was about right imho, and certainly not a role that richards could pull off. Truly, forget switching them around, just get a proper actress for the role of the scientist, preferably an actress that has a working brain !!

Jennifer Connelly is about that age, & didn't have a movie in '99. I should cast movies :lus:

There are a few clubs here that let in 18 & over. I had a room mate once who liked them under 20  we went there once a week. I was always bored. I like em young too, but to me young is 25-29 years old. I would spend the night chatting up the bartender. He was 35 and he didn't wear any underwear

So maybe Lady Gaga has jumped the shark.

http://www.independent.co.uk/arts-entertainment/music/reviews/live-review-lady-gaga-itunes-festival-the-roundhouse-london-8793722.html

Hard to tell with pop culture and the views of critics though.

I will say this. I don't think she is in anyway a Madonna. She is a lot like a characature of Madonna at one point, but Madonna was able to reinvent herself multiple times. I think that's necessary for longevity. I don't think Gaga is anything but a one trick pony. And that seems to be the way most pop "artists" are now. One trick, shock value, ponies. And the shock value thing is almost completely played out.

Yeah, so either able to adapt and change over time or build a huge, long lasting following because your music (actual art) is top of the line and real cutting edge, like the Beatles, Stones or Metallica.

I just don't think any pop star today is going to be a star in five years.

Perhaps, but I think that most of that talent is wasted for shock-value.

I don't agree though. I think it's the other way 'round.

Yep, Alan Thicke's son. Sleazebag or not he is hot. Blurred Lines, say what you want about the lyrics (personally ive heard way more degrading) the tune is catchy.
