Am I the only one that's noticed that Jim Caviezel can't act? He's like a breathing cardboard cutout |

Yeah, but I think I've only seen him show an emotion once in his entire career. How is that even possible |

My generation is really fucking sick. How many other generations can say that the cartoon characters of their childhood have all been turned into pornographic comics? (See scooby doo). Not only that, we turned our parent's cartoons (Jetsons) and our kids' cartoons (Kim Possible) into porn too! |

Actually, pornographic cartoons are as old as animation itself. There's surely porn parodies of Betty Boop somewhere, Dude. People have always been sick. We've just made a bigger industry of it, as usual |

Actually, what's more fucked up & unique to our generation is this weird ass shit where nutters get off rubbing themselves against people in plush costumes, & spanking it to the Philly Phanatic, Barney The Dinosaur, & Snuffalupagus. Who the hell could've seen that one coming? Anyhoooo...... The random thought I really came in here for is.... I'm pretty sure Star Trek & Ironman are the only movies this entire year that don't have Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson in them. WTF? The guy is in like 5 movies this summer |

In Unforgiven, Clint Eastwood plays Will Munny, an aged widower haunted by the evils of his youth who, without the stabilizing influence that his wife provided, descends down a self destructive path into violence In Gran Torino, Clint Eastwood plays Walter Kowalski, an aged widower haunted by the evils of his youth who, without the stabilizing influence that his wife provided, descends down a self destructive path into violence Is it any wonder that these are his two most powerful performances? One is set in present day, one is set in the old west. In one he does something brutally heroic, in the other he does something brutally heartless. In both he is a conflicted man trying to do whatever he can to make things better |

Do people actually like Vince Vaughn comedies? In 8 years he's headlined 7 major studio comedies Wedding Crashers The Break-Up Fred Claus Four Christmases Couples Retreat The Dilemma The Internship I suppose Fred Claus was tolerable, but what a crap list of films otherwise. How's he still able to get major studio releases? |

I don't like any of them really. Is it possible that his comedies are more successful with female viewers? I'd be surprised by that, given what a smarmy d-bag he comes off as in most movies. He's like this generation's Chevy Chase |

i don't like him or his movies, but.... 1. i suppose they make a fair amount of money. 2. comedies are cheaper to produce than some big, epic sci-fi thing where the visual FX alone cost $50 million or more |

Jules is just mean and cold-hearted. Sean is the best detective and does good work and his work is good. |

Mr. Jingles, the mouse from The Green Mile lived 64 years after the events with John Coffey. The longest known life expectancy of domestic mice is under 5 years. That means Mr. Jingles survived like 12 times longer than a normal mouse should. By this example, the main Character, Paul Edgecomb could live to be over 1000 ![]() or you could also suggest that Coffey, when affecting the longevity of a human, by "Giving them a piece of himself" might only be able to bestow as much as his own life would be worth, which would still give Paul an additional lifetime putting his total life expectancy at some amount lesser than 200

The vast percentage of people who botch the U.S. National Anthem lyrics do so at "O'er the ramparts we watched...". The reason for this is that I'm betting all of them have no idea wtf a rampart is. It's incredibly difficult to memorize lyrics or dialog if you don't know what it means, or have no understanding of what you're reciting. The solution? Look it up. Get to know what it means. This is why I love our national anthem. If you don't stop to figure out what it means, there's a good chance you'll make a fool of yourself eventually. So, here's my "Idiot's Guide" to The Star Spangled Banner There. It's one verse of the original four. Get to know it, & stop annoying me at sporting events |

and i heard it's also some issue with the lyrics and tune being out of sync (no pun intend) that messes people up |
