Jill Scott - Golden

Ok, so it was kind of just there, the first time I heard it, but every time since then, it is like willfully sucking vocabulary out of my brain. She literally says "Living my life like it's golden" upwards of 40 times in 3 and a half minutes. As uplifting a sentiment as it may have been for her, that is just a
piss poor talentless lyricist. If a song sounded that way 30 years ago, I'd have smacked the record player to make it stop skipping in the same groove

Thus I have dubbed this song "Singing my song like it's broken... broken... broken... broken... etc..."

There can be only one

Anything Dance, hip-hop, hipster-kid, teenage girl, where its a non stop repetitive dance-techno-sonic assault directly into the brain stem.

Pretty much, if teenage kids scream for it or can dance to it, I dont want to hear it.
The unambiguous and defined essence of a truest friend, is a single soul, shared in two bodies. A person who completes you so, that it pains you when they hurt, and sustains you when they are with you, no matter how far.

Obviously, that awful "Friday" thing (but does anyone seriously consider that a "song"?). I really don't like anything that is overly auto-tuned. Unless it's "Auto-tune the News", because that's awsome.

Randomer than you since 1992

Anything by Michael Jackson makes me want to tear my ears off rather than hear it.

as does: 99% of rap, 95% of country music, 90% of 90's music, anything with copius amounts of auto tune, most indie/alternative music, anything by Mika, Sneaky Sound System or the Jonas Brothers and anything where the lyrics are just unitelligable schreeching.

^Er... not much left after that surely?

There's a song by Maroon 5, I believe it's called 'This Love', which almost makes me violently ill when I hear it. I briefly worked nights in a supermarket, an awful job, and they piped that song over the speakers about five times a night. In other words, I have been to purgatory and Maroon 5 was played a lot.

while i like to be open when it comes to music, most of what is played on the radio now is not music. i have grown so tired of it all i have gone back to 80's stuff and classic rock. along with some early 90's country. wishing dr demento was still on the air. and omg i would die without "weird" al. lmao

I can't stand anything by the Chipmunks. Those high-pitched, squeaky voices are really irritating. Makes me wish I didn't have ears. The newest stuff is, by far, the worst.
"I am Vulom Staadnau," she hissed, her eyes appearing to glow redder for a moment, "Darkness, unbound."

Lady Gaga seems to be a local favorite there too.

Add to the list

'Price Tag' by Jessie J, ft. what appears to be Dave Chappelle in the video

The top 40 radio junkies at the job put on a station that plays this song, at least 6 to 10 times in an 8 hour shift. Yeah, it's not about the money at all is it honey? I'm ready to pay them to not play it anymore

my brother says he's tired of her.
every store or restaurant has to have at least one
of her songs playing on the sound system

Anything by Lady Bla-Bla, especially that one song, you know which one I'm talking about. I don't know them by name. Living in West Virginia and Colorado, I've learned to hate John Denver...just because I've heard "Take Me Home, Country Roads" and "Rocky Mountain High" two hundred times too many.
