Fast & Furious 5 is the only film I think of that I want to see. I'm eagerly awaiting Transformers 3 as well.

Avatar. We were just too busy when it came out, and I just haven't gotten around to it. But one of my coworkers lent me her dvd so I'm hoping to watch it tonight.

Avatar was pretty epic - you just have get past all the "tree-hugging" if you're the sort that gets bothered by that.
Otherwise - Epic.

From a story standpoint maybe, but it was visually stunning

Just watched "Moon"

It was outstanding. The same guy directed just "The Source Code" I might want to see that now, based solely on how good Moon was

OMG they only spent 5 million dollars to make this movie.

To put that into proper perspective. the last major independent sci-fi film I know of was Sunshine

they spent 50 million to make that one. 5 million is unthinkably cheap
