Personally, I think the guy should STFU and just disappear, he's not showing any level of sanity, just making CBS's case for them, IMO. What do you think is going to happen to him down the road? |

I don't know honestly. He's never been as good an actor as Downey so I doubt he could come back the same way. He was unemployable for years before 2 1/2 men due to his behaviour. Am I the only one who remembers him and Heidi Fleiss? Suing his producers doesn't seem like a good way to get hired somewhere else. I think perhaps 2 1/2 men was the aberation in his career and batshit crazy is the norm. oh and I wouldn't count Mel out yet. |

well he did a drug test for some network yesterday and was clean. I hesitate though to think everyone who acts bizarre or off the wall is suffering from a mental cisease though. Some people are just off the wall and like the attention. |

How come its such a big deal that he has two girlfriends and they all hang out and have sex together? No one cares that Hugh Hefner has or used to have multiple girlfriends at once I can understand the drugs and leaving his kids with pornstars for baby sitters.... |

Because they're porn stars typically, and he has a history of using call girls and the like. He also HAD custody of his 2 year old sons. Where are they when he has these people around? |

Other, The guy seems to be enjoying his life. Let him. If his behavior wasn't affecting his work the it's none of CBS's business. Wasn't his show one of the highest rated for the network. Fuck it. I think a lot of the media are jealous because he's not phony about his lifestyle. And who the hell wouldn't want to live with two pornstars? I know I would. If Gag-gag, Spears, Drunkuleara and others are still hot cultural icons then:  Leave Charlie alone. |

Charlie Sheen is arrogant enough to forget that it was the producers of "Two And A Half Men" that gave his floundering career a jump start. If he doesn't shut his mouth soon, he will be without a job. He will also find that thanks to his flakky behavior, no one is going to be willing to hire him. I agree with Wissa....don't give up on Mel Gibson just yet. Like Robert Downey, Jr., Mel is too good of an actor for me to think that his career is finished. |

He's gone the way of Mel Gibson. He'll find some way to redeem himself He's more whacked out than Lindsey Lohan He'll turn himself around, just like Robert Downey, Jr. did. Other Mel Gibson is way more reasonable than Sheen. Gibson knows when he fucked up..and, it was JUST alcohol that got him going. Gibson attempted to keep his anger private (like who of us has not had angry rants and said stupid stuff we really didn't mean)...is it just me? Good thing I'm not famous..... Redeem himself......No clue. One of my facebook friends had something interesting up yesterday though. It was Charlie Sheens head...and, every time you clicked on it...it ranted some crazy thing he just said......  Sheen needs a way to patent all that crazy talk...and, sell quotes on T-shirts....I know we are all running around now saying..."Winning!!!".......Hell, he can make a fortune off that alone.....  Lindsey Lohan......she is young......she has a long way to go to catch up to this...but, she might be on the right track...A not very educated in book smarts brat packer who does not really know what is important in life.....like the real hero's and true folks who are very inspiring to the day to day accomplishments by keeping the planet going in one form or other......it is still to be seen if Lohan has such an over-rated, inflated love affair with herself as Sheen obviously does.....just because he was the highest paid sitcom star for a period of time. Robert Downey, jr has ALWAYS been an actors actor. He is a consumate professional in his craft. Charlie Sheen's dad put Charlie on the map...and, his dad was the most underrated actor of his generation. I was in love with Martin Sheens ability as an actor when I was a kid watching him in the early 1970's The Execurion of Private Slovik....& another....the name escapes me..based on a true story...The movie where he was a run-a-way killer with Sissy Spacek...........Martain Sheen was a a really good actor. His kid is a brat packer gone wild. His fame and money made him think he is something he is not...All he was was lucky. Lucky his dad gave him a foot in the door of Hollywood. Or, this...like Woody Guthrie suffered from...which really does change your behavior and make people think you are bat shit crazy.....  Maybe Charlie Sheen is suffering from the onset of Huntington's Disease. It robbed Woody Guthrie of his rights to reason. It's not like it can't be a possibility...The three most profound behavioral problems in Huntington's disease come from the dementia (loss of the ability to reason), the altered perception of the world and the changes in family dynamics. I picked other...not, because I don't care. Just because I think it might be other. It sounds like he is a crackhead...and, that demon is a horrible thing to get control of in the long run..........Why do people do drugs that make you be a slave to them.....much like Gollum...in The Lord of the Rings. I.don't.get.it. |

I like the guy. Yeah sure he's partying it up with all kinds of women, left right and centre..... sure he's done/doing a few drugs..... but can anybody show me where this has actually damaged the show's ratings due to his performances, or even his acting on the show? The guy does his job and apparently he's doing his job pretty well considering the show's popularity and how much the producers keep paying him per episode. The only real issue out of all of this is what he does in his own time in his own private life... if there is such a thing for celebs such as himself..... that's what people have a problem with. But his personal life is his own business, just as your's or my personal life should be our own business. Now he's ranting on radio shows and interviews and speaking his mind as he sees things..... good for him.... most of what he's saying actually makes sense and if I was filthy rich like him, and if I was doing my job like I always was like he has been, and people started to make a big fuss over what I was doing in my own personal spare time.... I'd be telling people where to go as well and calling them all a bunch of "turds" too. I say good on him for what he's doing. Sure I wouldn't be up to snorting coke all the time, but that's his business, not mine. He's not the public's pet poodle who should be told what he can and can't do, or how he should behave on his own time. And Lohan? Last I checked, she's a grown adult fully capable of making her own decisions as well without everybody following her every movement and going on about whether or not she went drinking with some friends the night before. I'm drinking a beer right now..... send me off to jail. Oh wait, I'm not famous and my life isn't everybody else's business because I'm not in the tabloids, I forgot that they're all placed in a different status then the rest of us because they're supposed to be "Role Models" They're not role models anymore then anybody else. They're actors, musicians, artists, etc..... they get paid to do a job like the rest of us and just because we see them sing or act on our TV's or in the movies, that doesn't give us the right to nose into the rest of their personal lives and dictate how they should live. So if Charlie or Lohan want to use all their money to get smashed and do drugs to the point of killing themselves..... well, hey.... it's their life. They don't owe us a thing and if anybody thinks they do owe us something and you want to make some sort of impact on them, then stop paying to go see them, don't buy their albums, don't watch their shows, don't watch their movies..... don't contribute to their income that they'll use for their lifestyle in anyway. If KFC screws up my meal and hands me a rotten chunk of chicken, I'll leave and never go back....... ^ Oh and none of this is directed at the original poster, I'm just talking generally towards the question presented. |
