No offense, Voyager fans, but if I am asked to pick the worst Voyager, it will elicit the same response as being asked to pick the best DS9 or Enterprise...there are too many, don't make me pick. I liked the story of the Q who wanted to end his existance and the Q Civil War, but I really lost interest after Scorpion and the introduction of 7.

threshold was so bad that it deserves to be labeled the worst episode even in a thread that specifically states 'other than threshold.'

i really hated sacred ground, so i'll go with that.
I hated Sacred Ground too! Did not get it at all. As for Threshold, experimenting with speed is fun, but I definitely did not need to see Tom's tongue falling out...

The Captain's back...

Spirit Folk. Fair Haven was annoying enough, but at least there was a B story. Spirit folk had no B story, one of the few Trek episodes I think that didn't. Were the writers really that scarce for idea's that they had to do two Irish Village holodeck episodes in the same season?

This is one of the few episodes where I will disagree with Janeway. First she openly admitted that Michael Sullivan, the Irish bar keep in the holodeck program, was her boyfriend

Then she hesitated to pull the plug on the program. This was after the safety protocols had been rendered offline, the holodeck characters had gained a sense of sentient reality and had captured 3 of the crew.

I have no problem with the captain getting some holographic action. She wasn't getting it anywhere else, except in Threshold of all places. If I had a holodeck, well id spend too much time there. But I wouldn't admit it to my subordinates. WTF woman???

For the record I actually liked Threshold. Interesting concepts explored. Some of the other episodes listed in this thread: Initiation's, 11:59 and the Fight for example I felt were extremely boring. Almost on par with early DS9. But Spirit Folk was rubbish, a waste of an episode.
