I just watched "Timeless" this morning. The one where Voyager uses the Quantum Slipstream drive to get home faster but wind up crashing into an ice planet a few parsecs outside the Alpha Quadrant . That kills all of the crew except Harry Kim and Chakotay.

Now, if you've seen this episode you know that Harry and Chakotay go on to find Voyager's wreckage, salvage Seven of Nine's interplexing beacon to be used with a stolen Borg temporal transmitter to send the phase corrections to the pastto prevent Voyager from it's icy doom.

Would you have gone on with life accepting what happened or would you have done what Harry and Chakotay did?

"Timeless" is one of my favorite Voyager and Star Trek episodes. One of my favorite scenes is when Seven of Nine gets drunk off of one glass of Champagne (Blood-Synthehol level of 0.05%) and the line that follows about the Borg not being able to hold their liquor.

Live long and prosper.....!!

Yeah, 'Timeless' is one of my favourites, too. They actually address some of the consequences of changing time, instead of just ignoring them in favour of the story, which is what usually happens. Best line for me; "from Harry Kim, to Harry Kim".

EDIT; Oops, forgot to say what I'd do. It was done to correct a mistake, and save their friends. Which is something we all can appreciate, I'm sure. So, in the best Trek tradition, I'd probably brush aside the moral implications, and just do it too.

There can be only one

I would have taken Harry and Chuckles option to try and prevent it
The unambiguous and defined essence of a truest friend, is a single soul, shared in two bodies. A person who completes you so, that it pains you when they hurt, and sustains you when they are with you, no matter how far.

Randomer than you since 1992

Timeless is in my top 10 favourite episodes out of all the series. I've watched it at least a dozen times.

Yeah, I'd do what Harry and Chakotay did. I'd probably feel guilty about the moral implications, but I also wouldn't be prepared to do nothing about a mistake I made that killed everyone I loved if I could do anything to fix it.

One of my favourite moments from that episode

Harry: If you're having doubts, let me know. I'll take your program offline. But if you're with us, we tempt fate together.

Doc: To aid an honorable thief, or to spend eternity in cybernetic oblivion? Let's tempt fate.

I also loved drunk Seven

And Geordi's cameo was great
