it was an ok movie... to many people told me how awesomeit was... so it was built up way to much for me to think the story was amazing.. the effects were awesome though!

The biggest problem I had with the whole movie was how willing a college student was to invade some strangers mind and change his life.
sure... everyone else was in it for money or whatever... but a college girl pulled straight out of the classroom... would have had more issues fucking with someones head...

they never even broached that subject... or even one of money for her.

good point.

I was dispointed in it as well. I didn't like the dreams or the dream levels. Each dream was just as world based as the one before it. And the psyche protecting itself always took the exact same form, men with guns, you have the opportunity to get creative and established this whole construct to not be based on reality why not use it? And the whole time being different in each dream level thing was cumbersome

The target had a military based mind... so he used guns.. the majority of the movie took place in his head... but I got lost a lot.. so I dont really know.

and the main characters wife liked to stab people..lol

Sherlock... I mean... KHANNNNNNN

I saw this film on Friday & I loved it, though it battered my head. My brother kept going on about how you have to watch it twice to get it but I surprised him by kinda explaining it back to him & then to my mum.

The thing with the college girl is that at first she was freaked out but that the idea of what they could do with someone's dreams & the thought of having no limits to what she could build was so appealing that she wouldn't be able to resist.

There can be only one

I was down with it - thought it was a great idea and there are so few of those these days. that being said, I was never too crazy about DiCapprio, and typically tend to cringe when he's in a movie that I want to see, but he doesnt monopolize this one so much and its easy to get past him and just get wrapped up in the plot and plot device
The unambiguous and defined essence of a truest friend, is a single soul, shared in two bodies. A person who completes you so, that it pains you when they hurt, and sustains you when they are with you, no matter how far.

I  DiCapprio. I used to have posters of him on my bedroom wall. I love his accent!

You're right that you focus more on the plot than the characters & for me being a bit of a CGI nerd, I loved how the effects drew me in, I felt like the only one in the room while watching this film & I haven't seen a film that does that to me for a while.

It won a BAFTA for it's CGI last night.

I'm with Denny about Leo. Resisted for awhile because of it, but this one takes Leo off my list.

The most amazing part of the movie was the original concept while giving a decent explanation for still having to have somewhat world based rules.

Vi, your biggest problem was thinking a college girl wouldn't screw with a guys head? I don't recall that many college girls having grown up so much between high school and college.
