What's scary is that though people could be making all of this up about him, it's actually really easy to believe... way easier to believe all this outlandish stuff, than it is to believe he's a normal sane person

This is how they did Michael Jackson. There's really no way for us to separate the gossip from the truth. Is the gossip over the top, or is it barely scratching the warped surface, & who is this actual person? We'll never know

What would you expect him to learn from a film shoot about scurvy sea dogs? How to look like he hadn't taken a bath in a month?

There really ain't a whole lot of "Actor" in that guy though... I'm just telling ya. He's as one dimensional a screen presence. as there has ever been. I just look at him & then look at a guy like Hugh Jackman & wonder how they can be paid to do the same thing

Well no, you wouldn't have a beer with him and discuss the finer points of acting, for example. But then he's not really carved a career as, say, a Shakespearean actor (as Patrick Stewart is), but as an action movie star, something he's actually quite good at. He probably knows his limitations, and instead of trying to fudge-it (and risk more criticism) he plays to his strengths - and most of his action scenes he performs himself !!

Angelina Jolie, action heroine. That sentence would never have been said before the first Tomb Raider movie, and which gave her a new respect amongst movie-goers !!

I agree Spock.

Don't forget though Mojo, Keanu is a very shy guy. I met him once and he's like that in person. On stage when he played with his band DogStar, the same thing, real shy.
He's quiet in interviews.

He did some good, out in left field stuff, in his younger days. And I'm not talking "Bill & Ted".
"River's Edge" was an intense movie.

He has had some good romantic leads such as "The Lake House". He does pretty good for himself and I think he is one of those actors that is labeled.

He also knows what he can and can't do, and he sticks with it.

I just LOVE that guy.

And ironically, he did do a Shakespeare comedy..."Much Ado About Nothing". (I can talk about him for as long as I can talk about Trek or vampires or Bon Jovi or sports :) )

I quite liked him in Bill and Ted, he can be funny too and sometimes ad-libs some of the humour in his movies !!

She may have kept a poster of Tom Cruise on her wall as a kid, but Katie Holmes' first big, real-life romance was with another tall, dark and handsome Hollywood man: Joshua Jackson.

Last Thursday, Jackson, 35, revealed that he recently received an out-of-the-blue call from his Dawson's Creek costar Holmes, now 33 and freshly divorced from Cruise, 50.

"Like any old friend, it was like, 'Oh, hi how are ya? What's going on?'; 'I had a kid,'" the Fringe actor said of his phone chat with Suri's now-single mom. "It was very nice, actually."
