meh. I thought that episode was a little slow to be honest. And I don't know why they wouldn't have checked out the ambulance for the stuff they need. |

Well, because they needed an automated respirator for the boy while he's under anesthesia. Don't do surgery in an ambulance, therefor there isn't one. I thought it was ok. A bit more melodramatics, not enough action If the guy does animal surgery from his home, then it should be something he has though, or has at his practice. Animal surgery/people surgery, same deal. So STFU mom, it's the best luck you have today. Someone with any medical training is a godsend in this place. The tubby hunter was even an EMT. That's like having a low grade doc & nurse/medic on hand |

yeah she was a bit over the top. And you would think if he was a doctor or medical person of any type they would have already been raiding all the medical supplies they could get their hands on and stockpiling them |

Some random thoughts about "Bloodletting" This weeks episode was a bit anticlimactic.. Zzzzzz. I fell asleep while they were at the Farmhouse scenes. Finally, T-dog has an actual name: Theodore. Andrea is the perpetual "Damsel in Distress". She's a freaking "Walker" magnet. Even though Shane and fatty there had really no where else to run, running into the high school was a dumb idea. That was the best scene in the episode. |

Another bit of a sleeper episode. I hope we are done with standing over Carl wringing our hands now. Interesting little reveal at the end though. And next week looks a little more exciting. Have to admit I found the hanging zombie amusing though. |

I saw an interview with the producer and writer of the comics. He said they are deliberately not following the comics to maintain the element of surprise and never knowing who will go next. also, Rick has an english accent. It's so odd to hear him with it. |

Will they ever find Sophia?? They should of found her by now. Either alive and well but shaken or Walker-fied. I hope she wasn't devoured by the "Walkers". This weeks episode was a little more exciting than last weeks episode. Some randomly thoughts: How ironic that they (Andrea and Daryl) walked up found that "Walker" that hung himself in the tree when he got bit. Andrea is still a bit suicidal. The boy finally got the operation. Shane made it out of the school after Spoiler: click to toggle Was it a good or bad decision of him? Or was it a means of survival?? Thoughts? |

it was a strange decision. I guess you gotta do what you gotta do to survive. And in some ways they've been able to avoid that up to now. |

Ok, caught up now. The show has definitely slowed & gone a bit drama soft for my taste. I think the decision to use the tubby hunter as bait is definitely cold blooded, & is a new low for deputy buzz, & is a sign of his eventual mental decline. It's certain to be the kind of thing the god fearing homesteaders wouldn't understand, being that they've had minimal expose to the cruelty of the new world. Hell, some of them aren't even desensitized to taking down walkers However, it's not that big of a leap for the road warriors, in fact, it's a throw back to the decision Sheriff Slim had to make with Crossbow's one handed brother, which was a little easier to swallow, because he was troublesome These two ex-cops are living in a newly gray & bleak world, where right/wrong, & good/bad aren't as black/white as it used to be, & they're both going down that road in differing directions, soon to come to an impasse, as I see it I just keep wishing they'd get it moving. These AMC shows are sneakily doing their seasons with long drawn out drama on route to a big payoff at season's end, but there has to be something juicy before that or it becomes tedious. It's not been as good as last season, to be sure. Hell, one of my favorite characters is Glen (The Asian kid & the only one who's name I remember) & what's he had going on this season? Nothing but a fling with a farmer's daughter All this last episode added was the pregnancy equation, & the impending "Who da baby daddy" drama |

I thought the energy picked up a lot in last nights show. I certainly enjoyed it more than the last two. I'm thinking now they are going to find Sophia. And I wonder if the rest of the gang is going to be as eager as Rick to stay. His "leadership" is starting to rub me the wrong way now that he is just making decisions and expecting to speak for the group. And seriously, take off the hat and the shirt. Wear some regular clothes. The whole dangle Glenn down a well thing had me horrified. Love the way he still managed to rope the walker. The pregnancy thing is pretty annoying though. And so very predictable and un interesting. I liked the look on glen's face though when he figured out what it was. Daryl continues to be surprising and to become more and more appealing. I didn't quite understand when Rick told him he didn't owe them anything. Looks like he is going to have an accident next week. I'm hoping they move on as well. Either because the group balks at rick deciding for them that they are going to stay, or because they find out what other cop guy did and choose to leave with him than stay without him. |

That well zombie thing was the dumbest they have ever been. It's a waterlogged, bloated, oozing zombie, that has been living in a well for god knows how long. It's flesh is likely falling away The answer you're looking for is YES! The water is contaminated. Leave that shit alone. In fact, dump a shit load of concrete mix down there, & seal it off. Idiots

Another thing that bugged me... "We need to go to town for supplies" Ok, but going to town to get supplies on horseback is the most idiotic idea anyone in a zombie apocalypse could ever have. What pisses me off is that Glenn has 1st hand knowledge as to why it's stupid 1. If we're planning on trucking supplies back to your compound, might it not be sensible to use a.... uh... truck? 2. Meat bags that we are, we'll be attracting enough attention from flesh eaters as it is, without straddling two half-ton galloping meatsicles 3. Being a duo of gathers, what will we likely do with our steeds whilst we collect our supplies? Rope them to a pole outside, like the old west? How long do you figure we got before our unattended transportation is chow, & we're fending of flesh eaters while we hoof it back to the homestead? Glenn's exact response should have been "Hey, Sheriff! They want to go to town on horses. Tell Laura Ingalls what happened to the last horse we had, while I pull the truck around" This all leads me to think these homesteaders are overly sheltered from the reality of the world, are likely considering it some kind of rapture from which they'll be exempt, & might even be thinking there will be a cure. I suspect the reason Dr. Reverend wouldn't let the sheriff's people camp out by the barn is because they are housing zombified family in there |

I thought that "Walker" in the well was related to them. It's becoming the best part of the series is Daryl. He's the most level headed one of the bunch.. well maybe Dale (old guy) too. I liked the way they just pick Glen to be the bait to try to get that Walker out the well. I found that creepy too, that thing was down there for who knows how long.At first they tried the canned ham as bait and it didn't take it. I guess "walkers" really prefer their prey alive, moving, kicking and screaming. Although, even Sharks (one of the most predatory of predators) will take canned ham. They did that experiment during Shark week on discovery channel. The sharks pretty much ignored turkey meat but they ate up a ham like no tomorrow. That thing was down there long enough that it should of grabbed the ham. Oh, Yeah, the pregnancy thing..superfluous. |

It's funny you should say that. I agree with both those things. I figure the zombie in the well might be a family member or ranch hand. I imagine there's more of them around I think they have really done a lot to endear us to Daryl, & it's worked. He's a valued member of their group, & all that will play into the reunion with his brother. He's got a hard choice coming, & I still think he'll go for his brother over the others, but won't want to see anyone get hurt by his brother Daryl & Glenn are my favorite characters. They need to be written better to reflect how good they are to the show |

well to be truthful we've only seen him speak in this last episode. And he was a little sex addled. And he was being used for bait. |
