What happened?? What is the thing everyone is " omg-ing" about??
Well, if you're asking me to spoil it for you. Carol's been traveling with two little girls, sisters, 10 & 11 maybe. The nuttier little girl killed her sister, because she doesn't differentiate between the walking dead & the living. So, Carol put her down "Of Mice & Men" style. Might be the harshest thing ever televised
I've been following the basics....

So it was worse than what law an order special victims unit portrays??

Kids die on that show all the time...and worse....

But TWD its gritter and more graphic.
All my posts are done from my tablet. I apologize for all strange errors in my posts... as swype hates me. :violet:

Kids die on other shows, yes. They are not kids you know, that you've been invested in. They are not featured c h a r a c t e r s

with a season long story arc, whose father begged Carol to look after them on his deathbed

What's a show you may have watched with a lengthy running kid character? Lost? Imagine when the others kidnapped Walt they found out his odd powers were dangerous. Now imagine that Jack found out too, & decided to end his life for it. Now imagine him being either sweet & innocent to boot, or confused & mixed up

They didn't absolutely have to kill that little psycho girl. They did it because the alternative was living with her & compensating for it & that was going to be too hard in their day to day survival situation, possibly a threat

I would have liked to see how they got from Carol leaving with her and killing her

violet I think the difference is that it was a beloved character who killed her. Not just killed her but calmly decided that was the only course of action and then executed her

I'm not sure what you mean. You wanted to see the events just prior to her leaving to go kill her, or the events just after?

I was just inquiring...as I said...I haven't been watching...and seeing it yourself does make a difference.
Just wanted more detail as to why people are freaking out... Thank you both for informing me :)

Her and Tyrese were talking about Carol leaving with Lizzie and him staying with Judith and then she was killing her. What was the process of coming to that decision

You should watch the scene again. They have a brief conversation that goes from A to B to C rather adroitly

Carol: Maybe I could leave with her
Tyrese: You'd never make it
Tyrese: Maybe I could leave with Judith
Carol: You'd never make it either
Tyrese: Maybe we can talk her back
Carol: It's who she is. It was always there
Tyrese: What do we do?
Carol: She can't be around people

That was the final decision & Tyrese looked at her like he knew what it meant. The only option they never discussed was struggling through with her until they all reach Terminus, & hoping someone there can help her,, but that would have been too hard for them too, & frankly that was not Carol's mindset. Carol already kind of had her mind set before Lizzie even dropped the knife.

Denise Crosby?

:lus:

I already don't trust her... but maybe that's what they want us to think

BTW, when they talk about having been tracking Rick, they are telegraphing their rope-a-dope. The conflict will more likely be between the marauders & probably Carol & Tyrese

I doubt it, but she seems like the one they want everyone to meet first. They polled during Talking Dead last night
Talking Dead Poll

How do you feel about Terminus?

  • 5% A safe haven

  • 6% Just another Woodbury

  • 89% Worse than Woodbury
I'm kind of onboard with that. In fact, her appearance reminds me of how they used her on Dexter, a sweet nurse that took care of Harry, but was secretly euthanizing him with morphine

Surface kindness, with overtones of malicious intent. So now that is my impression of Terminus on the whole. In fact, from what I've heard about the comic, this plot may end up tying into a plot they had in the comic, which is to say that the big fat open face barbeque grill she was standing at?........ It's for cooking Human flesh

yeah, it's gonna be bad.

but I'm hoping there aren't really a lot of people there and they can kill everyone and take it. It looks like a decent setup.

heard an interesting theory today. What if yar has a mutation of the virus that makes them eat human flesh without turning?

What, like she's a not undead zombie? I sort of doubt it'll be that involved of a plot, besides, the zombie craving is for raw flesh, & on this show, seemingly any kind of raw flesh, horse, rat, deer, etc... If they were classic brain eating zombies, & these folks craved just brains too, then I'd maybe think there was a connection. Mostly I just figure they're nuts

There wasn't anything I didn't like about last night's episode, but it was a little underwhelming as a season finale.

it's gonna be a long wait till fall :(

It was only underwhelming in that both major events were somewhat telegraphed. We knew they were coming. If you hadn't figured out Joe's gang would catch up with Rick, and hadn't already figured out Terminus was a trap, then it was quite exciting. Most of us knew, and it was still entertaining.

I'm actually hoping for a spinoff, to fill in these long breaks :fingerscrossed:
