What do you mean? There's always the obvious alternative of carrying your loved ones' heads around in a sack

I still kind of wonder who the hell those guys Michonne had on a leash were

Then of course there's the option to keep them in your closet with a sack on their head, or play bobbing for walker heads in your fish tank

These are all perfectly viable options

Edit: Oh & I forgot, you could always just let them wander the neighborhood until you work up the nerve to bust a cap in them. That worked out well

IIRC from the books, the guys with Micchone were family / loved ones. I want to say a brother and a boyfriend.

In that flashback with Andrea on the show, she seemed to say something like "They got what was coming to them" in a rather cruel way

It was in the 3rd to last episode of season three, "Prey". The rest of the episode is mostly Andrea fleeing from Woodbury, to get to the prison

The show cold opens on a flashback of Andrea & Michonne, sitting at a nighttime campfire, & Andrea strikes up a dialog about her pets, & asks if she knew them before. I found the actual quote. The conversation ends with Michonne saying "They deserved what they got. They weren't human to begin with."

Beth? I was freaking out about Maggie yesterday. After Glen took that picture of her I figured she was doomed!

I liked everything that happened last night. From walkers inside the prison to Rick putting his gun back on. Though carol is starting to rub me the wrong way with the kids.

and omg omg omg tell me you watched talking dead last night :panic:

Yeah, why?

I think Glenn could go back to being interesting if something happened to Maggie

Beth on the other hand

Although that car should probably have reverse on it, but I was already pretty sure we're writing off the prison this season anyhow, maybe even before the season is over

They've been living a dream for some months. Say good by to the pigs & garden & private rooms for budding romances. Woodbury might have seemed like an actual town of old, but that prison was a 5 star Hilton for Zombieland. It was never going to last

I don't know. If they do leave they will find another haven. They have never shown them on the move for more than a couple episodes.

I'm thinking they should switch to big heavy vehicles and just start driving over zombies heads. I thought that was what they were going to do when Rick said get the truck in the last episode. Luring them away from the fence just seems like a temporary solution.

Yeah, I thought he might use it to shore up the collapsing fence. Frankly, they've been living there the better part of a year, & the only fortification I can see added was some wood spikes at the entrance & an improved gate. They needed to be wasting less time with gardens & farming & budding romances & spending it on fortifying the perimeter. With those dozens of people & salvage from the prison, they could have really strengthened that fence & protected their little spread of yard, which was a nice little vacation spot, but without fortification, that fence is doomed, & then they'll be penned up in the prison blocks. They should have at least fortified their egress, so to be able to come & go to restock supplies, when opportunity presents itself. If they stay, & the herd comes through there, they'll be stranded inside, & they'll lose the yard & pretty much anything outside the prison building itself, & even the building has suffered structural damage that they might not have sealed off well enough

Nobody thinks long term at all. They've yet to have a herd blast through there, & yet, they know of the existence of them in the area, & it looks like they'll pay for that, while they're distracted by the internal problem that they're dealing with

New Webisodes. It wasn't bad. Acting was a bit cheesy, but the reveal at the end is interesting, & throws back to a thing from Season one of the show

You know what's occurred to me this season? There's been things that are good & things that are meh... but nothing I hate, or more specifically nobody I hate. It's refreshing

There is one thing sort of nagging at me all this time though. It's been 4 seasons, & almost 2 years in world time & they are still less than 100 miles from Atlanta. If this season has taught us anything, a change of scenery is in order.

They could have been anywhere on the continent in this amount of time, with all their magic petrol & as this episode seems to suggest, there's others out there (One crafty person or more running a radio broadcast)

Two years in, & it's possible something of a rebound is growing somewhere, or not, but we just know nothing outside of this area right here. > Walking Dead Google Map

Well there have been reasons to stay (the farm and the prison) and no reason to leave. There is no reason to believe that the zombies are better anywhere else. They are just now starting to come to the end of the looting. They know the local dangers here and weather patterns. The winter they spent without a home was obviously pretty rough. I think I'd stay put too.

Now carol, wtf? wish they hadn't gone that way. But really it's a continuation of the dialogue the whole show has had. Do you throw away civilized conventions and do what you need to survive? or do you hold on to that last shred of civilization.
