I watched this last night uncut and I liked it. Basically, it is about this guy who gets shot in the line of duty (he's a Sheriff's Deputy) and falls into a coma. He later wakes up and finds that the hospital he is recuperating in is abandoned.

It's not said how long he has been in the coma but considering his wound wasn't healed and the fact he was ambulatory, it could not have been that long.

However, he walks down the halls and finds a door telling him "DON'T OPEN, DEAD INSIDE" he is dumbfounded until this hand reaches through the door trying to break it down. He runs out to find a passel of dead people on Hospital's loading dock. Walking around he sees all this weird stuff outside.

I'll stop right there, so that I don't give away the whole plot. I mainly took interest in this show because it mostly takes place in Georgia. Plus the teasers while I was watching Mad Men made it look good.

If you are a Zombie Lover, you might like this show. It comes on AMC on Sunday Nights at 10. OR you can watch it uncut like I did OnDemand.

I read the background info and it used to be a comic book series. At first I thought that it was a mini series.

Well, there are other survivors scattered about, among whom are people he knows (I'll stop there so to not spoil) I think it will spread out pretty well

I just watched it on Hulu, & though there is a certain amount of inexplicable stupidity for someone who's a trained lawman, it was still entertaining. Rule number one: All tv/movie heroes must learn everything the hard way, regardless of how intelligent their job would suggest they are

I'll tune in for more, but this main guy needs to wise up, or the idiocy will be too much to stomach & interfere with my viewing experience

That is what I thought too. I know very little about Law Enforcement but I've watched enough COPS for the last 20+ years to know somewhat better.

Although, I think the same thing when I watch some medical dramas too.

BTW, is this based on a graphic novel or comic book?

Too many spoilers in what I want to say at the moment, will be back later when I have more time to properly write it out

I have a theory about zombies. Since they always find the living, maybe they can detect heat?

Sounds like the premise for a true life story made into a movie by an academy award winning director!

Oh yeah...............127 Hours......................
