BTW, I told my kids about this and they're really hoping you can share the recipe. There was a collective gasp in the room when I mentioned what type of cookie it was!

lol well now I have to

*runs upstairs to get recipe*

Quote:

1 1/2 c Crunchy Peanut Butter
1/2 c butter
3/4 c granulated sugar
2/3 c packed brown sugar
2 eggs
1 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup quick-cookin oats
3/4 c flour
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1 pkg semi-sweet chocolate chopped

heat oven to 350

beat peanut butter and butter in large bowl until creamy.  Add sugars; beat until light and fluffy.  Blen in eggs and vanilla

Mix oats, flour, and baking soda.  Add ot peanut butter mixture; beatuntil blended. Stir in chocolate.  Drop teraspoonsfulls of dough, 1 inch apart, onto baking sheets

Bake 10 to 12 min. Or just until centers are set. Cool on baking sheets 3 min. Remove to wire racks cool completely

I used chocolate chips instead of baker's chocolate. And it's a canadian recipe so you would probably use self rising flour instead of adding the baking soda.

Well, that does sound delicious, but I can think of something you'd enjoy more.

Sounds so good but it's too much work for me. Can't I just buy them? :rachel:
