You are stuck at work for lunch and cannot get out the office so you decide to order something.

Say you ordered a Pizza and the left out an ingredient, when you call then back they tell you they will rectifiy it for you and two hours later they never do. By then the food is cold and they rrefuse to come back out or even replace it at all.

How would you give your feedback?
this chain is a nationally reconized chain too.

For chain pizza:
Out of the three chain places here, I'll be sticking with Dominos unless I'm carrying out.

Usually I'll make my own or go to a local chain but since the local chains went belly up recently, it's between homemade and the chains.

If I'm really pissed about the individuals I dealt with, then I'll leave negative feedback, but not if I think it will unfairly hurt the employees that just had the misfortune of dealing with me.

I always carry out.

While I'm quick to give praise when the service is good, I'm twice as fast to peel ass when the service sucks.
My kids hate it when we eat out and the service/food/something else sucks.
Because they know that I will fill out the little card or go to their website to complain.

I used to train people in customer service for a very large bank. It's my pet peeve when I get shoddy service, and I ALWAYS call them on it, going higher and higher into the corp/company until I get satisfaction.

However, if it's a food situation, I don't go back. I don't want them spitting in my food or worse.

You watch the Kitchen Door as look to see if they're looking out at you.
Dead giveaway. :wissa:

It's Christmas!

It depends on the service they give you. And I rather they use those plastic gloves when doing the food, I certainly don't like them use their hands to scratch themselves on the head and all that and then touch the food with dirty hands, don't people see themselves of their own etiquettes? If the service isn't that good, I would not tip them or give them very little, whichever.

Liz, your post made me think of places that let their people chew gum, while getting your food.

Even if it's a bakery, I make a point to get the non-cude chewing employee to wait on me. Ugh.

That is part of the etiquettes they need to follow, some resturants have rules for cleaniness and all that. But are they being followed? I don't think so until any customers would complain about it. Especially if there were bugs or something in the food. I had one friend, whose mother found a bug in her food, they never again went back to that resturant.
