I'm in a rural area too, there's a soybean field about 3 houses away from mine. Population of my town is about 25k. 25K? That's the big city around here. I live in a town with a bout 3000. The biggest city in my state is about 100k. Yeah well, next town over is 300. They marry their cousins and stuff, we won't talk about what they do to the sheep.

Worth Independent School District cancelled their classes until May 11th because of some reported cases. There's been one case in the Dallas Independent School District and so far, only that school has been closed. I'm glad that the schools are taking precautions....perhaps that will cut down on the kids and staff that would've been effected otherwise.

I have seen people wearing masks.. and Im making sure I use alot of hand sanitizer... but thats normal. My Cousin hunts "hogs" so I was thinking of staying away from him for awhile My baby has family in Fort Worth...

It also said that California, Texas, and Florida will be the hardest hit states, and have most of the cases. So I guess if you live in one of those states, be very careful.

Many health experts keep saying that this virus has nothing to do with pigs, but there are still a few out there who insist that it does. But yeah pretty much everyone has said that you definitely can't get it from eating pork.

Lol Because the Hotels and toursity areas have armed gaurds.

According to reports eating pork products won't harm you becuase the temperature they are cooked at kills the virus. So Bacon lovers everywhere will be safe Last I heard WHO have now raised it to "pandemic" level. And there has been one more account with swine flu in the UK, but the guy has never been to Mexico and caught it while playing football from the guy that did have it after being in Mexico. He has to stay in his house for 5 more days but is feeling better.
