My first job was when I was 13. I baby sat every Friday from 4pm till 9pm and got paid about £15. I used to look after my Nethew, my Brother and his wife both worked Friday nights. I loved it! My first job that was outside the family circle was when I was 15, a Stable hand at the Yard I used to keep one of my horses. I wasn't paid in money, I was paid in extra riding lessons and was allowed to use the menage when there were no lessons on instead of having to hack out if I wanted to ride. |

I used to babysit for one family every Tuesday night and Saturday. Started when I was 12, and kept up til I was 17. The first thing I actually got paid for, and very poorly, was ironing sheets for my mom. |

I took over a friend's paper route when I was 12 years-old or so. It only lasted for the summer but I used the money to buy a cheap set of golf clubs. I also had a summer job in the mail room at our local University when I was 16. |
