A medium satin slip, sexy lace thigh highs, sexy shoes and a veil. that's all you need and I bet you can get all that at Target or Wal-Mart for under $100.

Sounds like what my Groom would pick out!
Except he would add some slut red lipstick! :D

I have a friend who's getting married and her husband to be is obsessed with the wedding.  He's doing all the planning and telling her how to do her makeup and hair for the wedding

a control freak!

I read about them in one of those Brides magazines

But, it's normal when women do it?

Ironic isnt it.

I don't like those brides mags.. other than the cool photos.. they are stupid

I think a lot of women could get away with a $100 dollar dress for their wedding if it were left up to the men.

And socially acceptable would be "women imposed".

yup

women are evil and vicious when it comes to each other. We dress for each other not for you. We are conducting psychological warfare in front of you all the time and you aren't even aware of it. It's like there is a whole 'nother dimension there that you can't see. When Rachel started to get a little more immersed in girl world she was like there's a dark underbelly in girl world isn't there

OMG, so true. :liz:

I'm guessing at some point she asked what he thought of her hair. See man rule #1.

Why is it an 'er' when most people terms end with the 'or'?

:wissa: sure there is precedence either way, but what is the point of the 'or' rule.

It's Christmas!

My wedding dress back in 1994 was not $1000, the wedding dress and others were all handmade because I chose to have a Renaissance wedding. I still have it, left at my parents home. I designed the dress myself and had the woman do all the sewing for me.

Perhaps a Betazed beach wedding. That way you both get what you want. He gets the beach and you can get a Betazed type of ceremony...

Most men don't give a shit about anything, unless it costs money, time, or causes pain.

What other people think matters about as much as sky matters to fish

Pretty much. And I don't think it's fair that men are characterized as not caring about anything because that's the way they think. Just because we have different priorities doesn't mean we care any less.

I really dont know. I detest such characterisation of males.... and don`t think it`s right to say that it`s just the way we think, how we have different priorities etc.... i certainly dont think like that. Perhaps i`m the exception rather than the rule, but i`d imagine that there are many other males out there that think as i do. Going back to the opening post about why males don`t suffer from depression, I found that most of what it says does not apply to me. Actually, practically all of it. I know that most of the reasons listed are generalisations, and compiled primarilly to be humourous... but really, it`s no more descriptive of me than the man in the moon.

Oh, and i`m most definately NOT gay either!! :idon'tknow:
