oh I meant to say, I love it when Dexter is suddenly dangerous. Like when he snaped that guys neck. Makes the "dark passenger' more of a real thing than just a hobby. |

Really? I think he's a borderline lowlife. Not as bad as the bad cop guy he's working with, but he definitely travels in lowlife social circles, & exhibits some pretty shitty personal choice patterns, which from the look of it, will teach him a useful lesson when his dirtbag investigator turns on him. I mean what's he even got on Dexter? Some vague sketches of Kyle Butler, that he thinks look like Dex? & some personal attitude between them, because Dex saw him lift cash off a crime scene, & then knocked him down. Is he really still trying to prove Dex murdered Rita or is somehow connected to Trinity? Highly unlikely They'll have to do better than have him go sweet on Deb, if they expect me to think he's anything but a jerk Nanny could be wacko. I'm not sure where that's going. I could just be prejudging her because of her creepy over-the-top maternal-isms & now a bit of religioso thrown in as well Who's a villain worth Dexter's time? The motivation speaker guy? Meh. These guys are chumps compared to Trinity. The edge to this whole setup is that this girl is looming around. This doesn't bode well. The more comfortable he gets with having her around, the less comfortable I get. Where the fuck is imaginary Harry, when you need him? Get it? Lumen is loomin'

Trouble? & Why? Because he's lost sight of his instinctual sense. Where's Imaginary Harry? Harry IS his instinctual sense. Harry only exists in Dexter's mind, to be his instinctual focus. Everything he tells him is for the purpose of self preservation, a conscious link to his instincts. & his instincts are clouded right now, more than has ever been before. Hence, no Harry. The Rita murder, coupled with this new relationship, is why, & that's why the Lumen thing is bad. Dexter is revealing himself more & more with each season, & it's compromising his security You're thinking about it emotionally. Yeah, having a confidante, with whom he can completely share himself. It's all very comforting. She's growing comfortable with it. He's growing comfortable with it, & so is the viewer. It's therapeutic, & we want to believe that something like that can happen for Dex but all this has done is make him vulnerable. All we can hope is that Quinn now distances himself from this scumbag investigator Liddy, due to his own personal issues with him, & the scumbag turns his predatory inclinations towards Dexter, & tries to blackmail Dexter with what he's uncovered, (Which might be everything) because in the end Liddy just wants the money, & he'll likely find that Quinn will be a dead end for blackmail money, & Dex will be his new mark Which if it works out well for Dex, it'll mean that Liddy ends up on the carving table. I just hope he's someone who is truly deserving, because being just a dirty 'cop on the take'/extortionist, is not the same as being a cold blooded murderer Which is what Dexter IS, & I don't think Lumen is one, & she is abandoning her life to pursue it. However, this episode marks the beginning of something substantial. Deb murdered someone, & she reveals to Dex that she's completely cold about it, & Harry's kids both finally share a moment of truth between them. Deb is the real confidante, & that may eventually play out |

trouble because Liddy is getting too close. The last time someone got to close they were killed by the crazy english woman. Maybe Lumen will end up killing Liddy to protect Dexter. |

possible, but I think Liddy is going straight to Dexter, for blackmail money, & I doubt Lumen has it in her to be a cold blooded murderer, unless it involves her remaining offenders |

Wow, season 3... so long ago, now. I just watched the season 3 finale the other night, because I was trying to remember a detail, that someone else was convinced happened differently I haven't rewatched any of the show until then. It was interesting to do so. Hindsight really makes you look differently at the events |

LOL. so long ago Thinking back, I have my favorite seasons, & episodes, but I can honestly say, that every episode of every season had something engaging in it. I'm always left wanting more, after every episode. Although, over the years, we've picked up a great deal more supporting character subplot that isn't always that worthwhile |

hate the husband wife drama at the precinct. Loving everything else. Like the way Dexter's life has fallen all over Lumen. Bad guy is sinister. Like the new caring Dexter. I always said he wasn't a psychopath and his father trained him to be one. |

But it's hard not to notice that it's still the Harry in Dexter's mind saying that to him. Still pretty illuminating stuff for Dex though, believing that maybe there's more to him than just the monster It's seeming like this season is going to round out with maybe Deb finding out about Dex, & it almost seems like Lumen might be able to just walk away at the end too, once they find a way past Liddy, on one front & Jordan Chase on the other. I figure Jordan is heading to the kill room really soon, & it would appear that Lumen could choose to make the kill It would be an interesting spin for them to finally allow one of Dexter's relations to be able to go on with their life, instead of having them turn bad, like Lila & Miguel, What Liddy said to Quinn about blowing this case open, spooks me a bit, because I figured him for the easy extortion ploy, on Dexter, & if he goes up against Dex, that would be a poor decision, but if he goes legit on him, it could be a hard pill to swallow, perhaps even for Lumen, like her having to take the rap for murdering Jordan Chase. I just can't see it going that way though, with only 3 episodes left. Liddy trying to blackmail Dex seems more plausible, & Lumen just walks away, & the big cliffhanger could be Deb finding out |

two episodes to go and I'm finished season 3, so far so good. I'll start renting season 4 as soon as I'm done. This show is addictive. |
