I hate time travel. Ethan wasn't Juliet's boyfriend, Goodwin was, & he was married at the time, if you recall They were always there. We just never knew about it. In fact, I find it ominously intriguing that Ben might know Sayid from childhood, & maybe the other Losties as well, I mean Jack is going to be working in Roger Linus' department It might be that Ben knows a great deal more than he's ever let on :magstar:

That is a great idea! i love this show!! Jacks Father showed Sun and piolet guy.. the pics of them hanging on the wall. That seems like Proof they were always there. Why keep the pic on the wall otherwise? I sure hope they don't get "purged"

And wouldn't them being there change the pics in the future? they spent time in the houses wouldn't they have seen the pic? and now that I think about it, isn't the town way more run down then it should be?

Because Kate, jack, Sayid, Sun and Hurley where home for three years and Sawyer, Juliette, Gin and those other guys have been living in the 70's for three years So Im guessing the current island where Jacks dad and Claire are.. has also aged three years. as far as I can tell.. only Locke hasnt aged 3yrs!

They jumped to 3 years in the future, when they transported off the island. They were only off the island a matter of weeks or months, during their attempt to get everyone to go back I think the way this show is going to work, the pics were always there, but no one ever noticed, because they may have never searched that particular building & Ben already knows some of the Losties from childhood, which indeed does make the Losties relationship with Dharma & the hostiles a much more complicated one The barracks is run down, because no one has been living there for 3 years. In fact, the whole island seems much more ominous. It just seems more haunted or something. Remember that a whole lot of people died on the island, in all of the different groups, Dharma, Losties, hostiles, or Others Something weird is going on with the future island, & yet, Sawyer seems content to play house with Dharma, even though there is some seriously dismal things coming down the line, that they themselves might have been a part of setting up

It seems that way, because it was so long ago last season that we saw that stuff, but all those flashforwards from season 4 seem to have taken place throughout 2007, & the Oceanic 6 left right at the end of 2004. there may be a period of half a year to a year that transpires between Ben leaving the island, & returning, by my account, which I'll admit isn't perfect So doing the math it would seem to be sometime around 2008/2009, when they go back to the island, basically, the present I bet lostpedia has a better timeline

Posts: 13,333 Group: Movie Era 10000 post spammer Member #1,478 Joined: November 14, 2007	I'm wrong. lostpedia says Ben showed up in Tunisia in 2005, which I do seem to remember now, having only jumped 3/4 of a year ahead or so Now I'm wondering why Locke jumped to 2007, when he left not much after when Ben left. Maybe it's time shift related. Maybe they had already shifted to the future, before Locke leaves the island, & therefore, he was transported to a later point than Ben was I wonder if they'll ever explain any of this

So during the three years on the island with no losties.. excpet maybe claire... why didnt the "Others" move into the Barracks? --------------------- This is silly..but Im worried about Rose and Bernard. they have to have time shifted...
