This is the newest piece of info about the "smoke monster" I found the the things the french guy was saying about the monster toe the most intriguing! and no wonder Danielle shot them... seems like it was kill or be killed

I do seem to recall Ben mentioning a "temple" but... the others didnt know what the monster was.. I think Juliet said something like that.. Thats why they relied on the fence. interesting how the "monster" comes out of a "hole" in the ground.. instead of the main entrance... almost like its managed to escape..and attack those on the island.. instead of just those who enter the temple.

Maybe this is a tiny piece of that energy.....

It seems that shortly thereafter, they return, & are effected by their experience, such that they now want to kill Danielle The wheel did looked messed up, & John needed to fix it. Maybe the time shifts will stop now

Your discussions make absolutely no sense to me. I mean I realize that you need the context in order to understand but with any other show that I can think of there is at least some basic frame of reference that enables you to get some idea of the show's structure and conventions. Without that, to me it just sounds like a bunch of different ridiculous scenarios thrown together with no purpose or meaning. I guess the show is appropriately titled.

It seems odd that the temple would be the location where Ben sent the Others if the black smoke was meant to protect that temple. But I guess we haven't seen the black smoke attack any of the others. When Ben called the black smoke after Alex died, did any of the soldiers get taken out? I seem to remember them being wounded, but they seemed to have made off pretty well against the black smoke.

This show is designed to be a jigsaw puzzle, & pieces start to fit together, but to an outsider, it might never seem that way, till you understand the context

They got on a plane to Guam which had pathetic first class seats for such a flight. Locke was still being a dick to Jack after Locke was dead. We got to meet Jack's grandad.

Any alternative explanation, which would leave Kate slumped on Jack's bed all but having given up, are too gruesome to imagine Hurley seemed pretty convinced. He even bought up all the other seats, to prevent other people being involved Not too sure what finally convinced him though. However, he did bring A guitar case eerily similar to Charlie's with him. Sort of like Christian Shepard's shoes or whatever Sayid might have been forced, but I can't be too sure I didn't see them getting back so quickly, so I'm a bit caught off guard now
