Posts: 13,333 Group: Movie Era 10000 post spammer Member #1,478 Joined: November 14, 2007	The ghost thing is kind of killing the show for me a bit, mostly because at the start of this whole thing, the producers claimed that everything on the show would have a practical explanation Sci-fi I can handle, so I was willing to put up with hints about time travel, & magnetic experimentation, & corporate conspiracies & didn't even mind so much when the psychic powers were less prevalent but now the whole show has been consumed by these things. Even the monster is a bit unreal for me, & turning all the dead people into ghosts will just be too much really, but the show is still very entertaining, so I'm willing to see how it plays out However, one thing that does support your theory about something posing as the deceased people is that Mr. Eko chased his dead brother around the island for a while, only to find out that it wasn't his brother at all

He is nearly a main character, at this point http://www.lostpedia.com/wiki/Richard_Alpert He's been Living with the Others all this time. He recruited Juliet under the guise of the Mittelos Corp. He helped Ben orchestrate the "Purge". he's been on the island since Ben was a child, in his flashback (& likely before then) & in every period we've ever seen him, he's been exactly the same age That's what I was thinking! I was like..."Whoa! This guy looks exactly the same today at Lockes age on the Island as he did when Lockes was a child... They must be smoking some strong stuff whoever writes this show! Whatever was going on with Claire..dead..alive..(Do dead people where band-aides) she looked at peace with her situation...
	And....the kids!

I think the island is just out of phase with the rest of the world which allows it to be moved. Widamore probably new about the island when it was closer to Ecko, but then the Hostiles moved it when they killed Dharma off. We do have proof that the island is both ahead and behind the real world in time. That must be related to the angle of approach. So Richard had an interesting book when he was testing Locke's abilities. Since Locke hasn't shown any other ESP abilities aside from seeing the black smoke as a kid, I take it such abilities are suppose to disappear over time. I guess that is why Ben is no longer the leader. Very interesting dynamics with Ben's conversations.

He may be the source of the master of all the manifestations, like Eko's brother
