Posts: 13,333 Group: Movie Era 10000 post spammer Member #1,478 Joined: November 14, 2007	That was just insane I originally had continuity questions, but I think I figured them out now :panic: Michael & Walt left the island on day 67 Tom was present during Ben's surgery, on day 73 Tom played football with Jack on day 80 Tom must have gone to N.Y. before Locke blew up the sub, because he is back when the Others abandon the barracks shortly thereafter. That was day 81 Ben talks to Michael before the Others abandon their village, as he is in his island home, for the call to the freighter. Michael's entire flashback spanned only two weeks All that happened in 2 weeks? You've got to be shitting me Kind of weird that Sayid blew in Michael for working for Ben, but will eventually end up doing Ben's dirty work himself. That's got to be related. I wonder if Michael will get his wish btw, I think Ben assassinated Karl & Rouseau, or had someone do it. Did you see that look on his face when Karl was getting touchy with Alex? I don't know who to root for anymore :panic2:

Tom is still on the island escorting Jack to keep Juliet from being executed by the Others That was day 74 Sometime between day 74 & day 80, Tom made it to N.Y city & back [spoiler=spoiler] Walt in the window, during the new episode is not Malcolm David Kelley :lol:[/spoiler]

I hate it when the show cut off! Looks like Michael was surprised at Sayid for exposing him to the men on the freighter and he looked like he was scared of what is going to happen next. Oh man! I wonder what is going to happen next.... Did Ben send someone to kill Karl? Karl knew something was wrong when he told Alex that he get the feeling something is not right, then he got shot. Did Alex's mother also get shot? I missed that part until I saw her face down on the ground. Poor Alex got scared and ran. I know I saw Ben looking at Karl having his hand on Alex and was not happy about that, Ben was trying to protect her like any father would do.

I guess that gives them at least 2 days to make it around the world without any money. I got the feeling Tom didn't use the sub to get to Manhattan. We will probably know more when his friend shows up again. As far as Ben contacting him goes, he would have had to contact him to get the list before the radio station was destroyed which was day 81, wasn't it? I thought the boat's radio was destroyed 2 days before Sayid arrived. Which reminds me, I thought the boat wasn't taking any calls. Why would they take a call from Ben? So Widamore says Ben put the fake plane there and Ben says that Widamore put the fake plane there. Since Ben had all the "proof," I am leaning toward Ben having put the plane there. What is up with the island. It now has powers on the other side of the island. Ben may have wanted Karl & Rouseau to die, but we often hear voices on the wind before the Others show up. More importantly, some of the shooting seemed a little indiscriminate if they didn't want to hit Alex. They hit Rouseau too fast for knowing Alex was behind the tree as well.

Michael recovered from that car crash awfully fast. And that boat must have made good time to the island. I don't know why they would put michael on though. Why not just tom or one of the others?

He could recover from anything if Tom thought a bullet might just bounce off of him. The probably picked Michael to keep him under control. If they hadn't used him, someone would have eventually realized he couldn't die and that he had been on the island. Watching X-Files today and Ben is in the Brady Bunch episode.

Yeah, Locke blew up Mikhail's place (A.K.A. The Flame, or radio com station) the night before he blew up the sub, days 79 & 80. I think the boats radio problems only started about a week ago or so. Michael's call was earlier than that (likely a couple weeks ago, as he's only been off the island 4 weeks). Ben also used Walt's name, to call. They hit Rouseau too fast for knowing Alex was behind the tree as well It's possible that Ben sent Alex & party to the Temple, knowing that they'd likely have standing orders to kill anyone who wasn't one of them, or a traitor like Karl (Who was a key element in getting a bunch of the Others killed , on the beach) Another interesting point I'm thinking about is the fact that Michael tried to kill himself like four different times, & failed in what should have been impossible odds Something is going on with that, & it smacks familiar to the phenomenon that Charlie was having happen. In fact it was the complete opposite. Charlie kept getting put in death's path, & Michael couldn't get death to show up I'm starting to think there is a time travel paradox principle at work there, which works opposite from "Back To The Future" logic. some time theories work in a way to suggest that time is a constant, wherein individuals have no tangible effect. (i.e. returning to kill your grandfather, in order to cease your own existence wouldn't work, because the universe "Course corrects" & prevents you from killing him) Which is why Michael couldn't kill himself, because he is supposed to do something at a later time, or already has done it :panic: My brain hurts

I think ben in his warped little brain thinks he is protecting the island and windmore wants to use the island for commercial purposes.
