Nah, Sayid is just doing what he thinks is best for the other Oceanic 6 Things I find interesting 1.) That the missile clock is not synchronous with Farraday's clock. The missile clock is ahead 31 minutes, so though I can't figure the exact calculation, there is definitely a time lag on the island. This could even explain Walt's rapid aging 2.) That there is a strong possibility that Ben's "Inside" man, on the boat, is most likely either Michael, or Kelvin Inman, which is very interesting, since Both Sayid & Desmond are now choppering to the boat, and both of them know Kelvin. That would be awesome! 3.) Jacob's cabin is gone, but the sediment barrier is still there 4.) What does Penelope Widmore have to do with this? 5.) Naomi had a bracelet that seemed exactly the same as Elsa's, as if Ben is now hunting the people who came to the island to get him, & the bracelet could connect them, That's a pretty offbeat theory though 6.) They keep referring to the Oceanic 6, who we now know that Sayid, Kate, Hurly & Jack are four of. So there is a chance that there are two more of the Losties that leave with them, because it seems inconceivable that if people like Ben, Juliette, & Desmond did leave the island with them, that they would be passed off as 815 survivors So it is a possibility that more than 6 leave the island, & my theory that Ben is in the Coffin at the funeral Jack attended is still holding up This season has been very gripping. There was a lull or two in seasons 2 & 3, but now that they have fewer episodes per season to work with, they may not have the luxury to let things slow down like that anymore :happy1: |

This post makes no sense to me  The part of the plane on the beach is the fuselage, & the monster has never come out to the beach  The cockpit of the plane is within the jungle, & when the pilot is snatched out of the front window, & killed by the monster, there was no outside shot of the black smoke The first appearance of the black smoke was in Exodus pt. 2 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-Xpa4BGLMOs & then again as it tried to pull Locke into a hole http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_8qeLAISw24 & many times since :P

no there was a clip a couple years ago that was the cloude on the beach just after the crash. I'll try to find it again. And how can you say Sayid isn't broken. Ben owns him. The fact that he is threatening him with the safety doesn't make it all right. Compare the cocky arrogant take charge Sayid getting on the helicopter with the Sayid crying while Ben stitches him back up. and there is totally a connection with the German girl and Naomi's that bracelet couldn't have been a coincidence. And I don't think the cabin is gone. If it was ever there in the first place, which I have doubts about. It is a mystical place. The island will only let certain people see it. Or you have to approach it in the right frame of mind. AND what evidence do you have that the spy on the ship might be Michael other than the spoiler that he will be back this season? |

damn it mojo. I'm looking for that clip and I realized you never even saw my brilliant theory last year  Taken from nexus so the whole thing with locke's father has really been bothering me. And I came up with a theory last weekend while talking to a client. I know he said he was in a car accident and then woke up on the island; but are we really going to believe anything that man says? [spoiler=read my damn theory]Locke's father was on the tail section of the plane! Remember Sawyer was in australia because he had a tip that he was there. And Locke is the only person who knew what he looked like. Since locke was likely loaded separately from everyone else because of the wheelchair it's possible he didn't see him. Since ben knew who everyone was he quickly kidnapped the father to be used later. Remember the tailies were disapearing daily. [/spoiler] |

Do you mean the pillar of smoke?  Not the same thing
Because I am going on the assumption that the man in the ghetto coffin that Jack goes to is Ben, & I'm also starting to think that the reason that he is in that coffin, is because Sayid puts him there 
I actually think it's more likely to be Kelvin Inman, but it's just theorizing really These are really my only two unproven theories The man in the coffin is Ben Kelvin Inman is still alive they just seem to make sense to me

no I don't mean that. I found a clip a couple years ago that was on the beach in the confusion after the crash. Someone slowed a clip down, I think it was when the engine exploded and you can see the smoke monster swoop down. You can't see it in regular time though. and I think Sawyer is either the guy in the coffin, or the guy that Kate has to get back too. |

Oops sorry, I missed it on the last page, but I remember reading it when you first posted it, & I admit there is a strong likelihood that is what happened, but it would be pretty quick to figure out all that within the first few days, & know that it would be worth having him captive, but who knows Just like that Jacob's cabin crap. btw, I don't think Sayid was crying because Ben had him broken. He was crying because he may have actually felt something for that Elsa woman he killed That's Sayid's Achiles' heel. He falls for women who are victims. Nadia was going to be tortured, & killed. Shannon had just lost Boone, the only person she'd ever cared about, & Elsa was a woman he was sent to use, in order to get to her boss, & kill him Sayid is a sucker for a damsel in distress Which likely all goes back to the women he tortured, that caught up with him& Ben may have the upper hand with Sayid at the moment, but that is what Ben does. In his own words, "I find what they care about most, & then exploit it" |
