KHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAN!!!!!!

That was a good one, but so very different than the short story, especially the ending.
Ah, Kirk, my old friend. Do you know the Klingon proverb which tells us revenge is a dish that is best served cold? It's very cold.......in spaaaace.

It was originally filmed with the ending from the book, but the focus groups didn't like it. So they changed it.

Some editions of the movie have it included as "the controversial original ending".

I think those focus groups missed the point of the original story.

Watched The Amazing Spider man.

I found it kind of slow. The action took forever to get going, and once it did there was nothing new there. The story is so familiar and done so recently I can't think of any reason this movie was even made.

I saw Skyfall yesterday and would highly recommend it to anyone who is a fan of Bond. Well worth the money to see in theaters.

Sherlock... I mean... KHANNNNNNN

My dads boss & his wife saw that the other day. Bosses wife ended up spending a long time after the film ended explaining why it was called skyfall to him!

Has anyone seen In Time? Good? Bad? Worth watching? It's on Sky movies from Friday & I was thinking of making time to watch it (no pun intended)

:liz: Apparently he's not the...um....brightest crayon in the box. The movie made it pretty obvious (I won't explain so as not to ruin anything for others).

Ok. I saw that one at the theater when it came out. I remember it being ok, but I never bought it, which for me means I didn't like a whole lot. lol

Randomer than you since 1992

Breaking Dawn Part 2: I haven't read the book in so long I can't remember exactly what they left out, but something doesn't feel right about the pacing and the lack of screentime for all the new people... I dunno, I still liked it though. I'm glad they changed

I wouldn't argue too strongly on that point, it was certainly innovative - and gave Bond his iconic Aston Martin DB5 !!
