Sherlock... I mean... KHANNNNNNN

War Horse has been on sky movies this last week. I avoided seeing it at the cinema & wanted to avoid it while it was on sky. The effect the trailer had me, I knew I couldn't handle watching it!

On Wednesday I stumbled on it while seeing what other films were on. It was at the battle charge part & I didn't last a minute before I looked like this - :crying: I quickly turned it off & yep I was right! There's no way I can handle seeing that film!

There was a display at HOYS that was based in War Horse that had me in pieces! It's kinda pathetic what effect Horsey things have on me!

KHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAN!!!!!!

Those are good theme songs, as well, guys! I have a cd that has all the Bond theme songs on them, and to be honest, they all have something going for them! I like all of them in one way or another.

Lus, I think it's cool that horsey things have that much effect on you! :)
Ah, Kirk, my old friend. Do you know the Klingon proverb which tells us revenge is a dish that is best served cold? It's very cold.......in spaaaace.

Randomer than you since 1992

1931 Dracula

It was adorably un-scary, but still pretty fun entertainment.

Bride of Frankenstein (1935)

Liked it more, it was less goofy and better directed. Really sad ending though...

I've never watched any of those old horror films. I can imagine they would be almost comical by today's standards.

Finding a spider in your breakfast cereal would probably cause more horror. But back in their day, the old horror movies were cutting edge !!

I don't want horror, either, Lus. :hide: I hate those kind of movies. But I'd kind of like to sit and watch the old classic horror movies, just because I know they wouldn't be scary and they are, of course, classics.

They kinda are, which is why they're the only ones I can watch.

'Real' horror movies freak me out way too much.

Which is weird, since I can read horror novels no problem :idon'tknow:

Nicholas Cage is a guy who can 'see' two minutes into the future, Julianne Moore the FBI agent who needs Cage's help to find a nuclear weapon hidden somewhere in America, and the terrorists are on their trail. Jessica Biel plays Cage's love interest !!

Pretty good storyline and special effects, plus the by-play between Cage and Moore keeps this movie chugging along at a fair pace !! ****

I bought that movie one time, having never watched it before. I ended up selling it. It was ok until the end, then I was kind of like.....huh? Poor Nic Cage. I like him as an actor, but his latest projects haven't been much. Oh, for the days of Guarding Tess and The Rock.
