Finally saw Dark Shadows and I quite enjoyed it. But then my expectations weren't very high after hearing all the bad reviews.

I went and saw Looper the weekend it came out. Absolutely loved it! If you're into time travel with a great story and just enough action sprinkled in, then this is the movie for you. There was one pretty big plot point that I figured out before they got to it, but it wasn't something that would ruin the movie or the surprise at the end. I might be alone, but the resolution of the overall problem surprised the heck out of me. I highly recommend this movie!
Ah, Kirk, my old friend. Do you know the Klingon proverb which tells us revenge is a dish that is best served cold? It's very cold.......in spaaaace.

And I agree with you, Spocklet. Quantum Of Solace left much to be desired as a Bond film. Hoping Skyfall is better. Can't wait to see it. I love James Bond movies!

 Yeah agreed dude. Don't get me wrong, have always loved Bond movies (even those with Roger Moore), just think they could have done more with Quantum. Have heard that Skyfall isn't too bad !!

Really want to see Looper, have heard that it's "the Matrix for the new millennium", and since I loved the Matrix movies am hoping it can live up to them, especially the original Matrix movie !!

Yeah, I liked Quantum just fine, but that's about all I can say. It felt like too much was edited out and it was like the Reader's Digest version with almost all the story edited out.

And comparing Looper with the first Matrix is actually not far off. It's one of the most original movies I've seen in a long time. There are familiar elements, but the way they are put together was different than what you would expect. Welll worth the money to see.

Little Shop of Horrors, The Directors Cut. It is way better with the originally filmed scenes that were intended to be in it 25 years ago.

The Terminator

*spoiler warning*

I thought it was great. Arnold Schwarzenegger did a superb job of playing the cyborg, and the other roles were pretty good as well. The climatic scene with the robot unmasked was pretty scary. 5/5 stars.

I know I'm late as shit to the game.. but I finally saw The Avengers a few days ago and was blown away. SUPER AWESOME and fun movie to watch. I loved Thor also... the other marvel movies aren't bad at all, either.. Capt' America, Iron Man, and all that.

John Travolta as the crook, and Denzel Washington as Garber. Have to say that Robert Shaw and Walter Matthau did it better, not as good as the original !! ***

Still Roger Moore's best Bond film, in my opinion.

Totally agreed! I bought Duran Duran's greatest hits just for that song and Hungry Like The Wolf. :allteeth:
