Now you've all got me curious. I really enjoy Craig's Bond movies. Why do you dislike them so much? |

I find the movies too dark, Craigs Bond is too cold and angry at the world, and theres no gizmos. Also the whole hole in the chair thing was way over the top! |

Something Borrowed As chick flicks go, this one was pretty good. I enjoyed the acting of everyone but Kate Hudson. She seems to be one dimensional in most everything she does, like she's given up on trying to become convincing. Hard to believe she was once an Oscar nominated actress. Anyway, cute film! |

Agreed, Craig's Bond is more like Connery's, who could be cold and humourless at times. The ones who followed were too much into the humour and over-the-top-gadgets (an invisible car ?!) and female conquests. I think Craig's Bond is more realistic of what a secret agent would be like (though Madam said that the chair scene in Casino Royale did give her a few ideas !!) |

brosnan wanted them to cut back on the gadgets, but the producers said that's what makes bond movies bond movies. that's one of the reasons they couldn't reach a deal with him to continue. but lo & behold! in the next movie, no gadgets! i hear they're going to have some in the next one. |

Babies A film that follows four babies from Africa, Mongolia, Japan and the United States. It's a documentary type film sans dialogue and gives little information about the backgrounds of the families that the children are born into. I found the two babies that were born into the rural communities the most interesting The child that lived in Mongolia was left alone a lot while his parents were probably out working and taking care of the animals. He would stay wrapped up tight on this day bed type until he was mobile and crawling around then he wore a harness tied to one of the post of the bed. Also that after his mother gave birth to him in the hospital, the family left on a motor bike. This woman was holding the baby struggling to straddle the motor bike. No one helped her, it wowed me because someone could of held the baby while she got on the bike. The child born in Africa. I wonder what was the name of the tribe they were in. The film didn't display the gender, despite the tribe there doesn't wear western world type clothes. However, there was no father type figure present which differed from the other three babies. It also solved a mystery that I've personally wondered for a while, in a culture that doesn't have the luxury of pampers, how do they take care of that. They have their own way of cleaning the baby's bottom up. I never would of thought. Learn something new every day. |

That's my problem with them too. They're alright as stand-alone spy movies, but they just don't feel like Bond. Part of the charm of James Bond is how silly and cheesy it can be sometimes. Craig's Bond bores me. He's even worse than Timothy Dalton. |

the different style of the movies isn't really Craig's fault you know. He didn't write the scripts or direct them. I really liked the first movie he was in. But then I didn't like the campy ones. I don't even think I bothered to see one of the Brosnan ones. |

What wasnt shown in the movie, is that the lunar module contained a portable nuclear power plant that was going to be used to power experiments and equipment on the moon. However it didnt make it there - it came back to earth aboard the lunar module, when it was jettisoned and abandoned, and is presently at the bottom of the Pacific, the power plant having been designed to survive re-entry. |

They are American sweethearts which movie producers know a lot of guys would probably like to bang, however they lose sight of this because they keep getting cast in chick flicks that guys dont want to see, compounded by the fact that these actresses also prefer not to do nude scenes, so chalk up another bit of genius and moment of clarity for the Hollywood production mentality. |

On Stranger Tides I really enjoyed this one. More than some of the previous sequels. Didn't miss Orlando or the chick at all. I especially enjoyed the mermaid subplot. |

I just got a job at the Greenwich Maritime Museum, where they filmed a lot of the UK scenes for that. Still haven't watched it. |
