Superman IV The Quest for Peace. I don't even know where to start on this one. I mean the beginning is good with Superman/Clark having the challenge of whether he should disarm all nuclear weapons or let the world blow itself up...............then the rest starts and it really gets dumb with John Cryer trying to play the hip nephew of Lex Luther, some crazy radioactive man, the moon. Lois only convieniently remembers Clark and superman are the same person when it suits the plot at that moment. Good thing they ended after this movie therwise, who knows what.

Limitless.

Not a perfect movie by any means. A few loose ends and such. But a good watch

127 hours

Captain America: The First Avenger

Enjoyed it a lot, but the ending was too sad!! :( And there were quite a few plot holes and rushed bits (maybe you have to have read the comic to get it? for example, it took me an embarrassingly long time to figure out the the Howard Stark guy must be Tony's dad) but overall it was pretty good.

Paul, the story of Paul from the Bible that is.........the guy who played Harris in Police Academy actually has a serious role in the movie, hard to picture.

Ben Affleck and Uma Thurman. He's an engineer who creates a machine that sees into the future, then has his brain 'washed' so he doesn't remember anything. She's a biologist who's also his wife, whom he doesn't remember. Then they're thrown together on the run, when the lab boss wants them dead, in an above average chase movie. I liked it !! ****

Fred Ward and Kevin Bacon, in a 'creature feature' that spawned several sequels, each with their tongues very firmly in their cheeks !! ****

I enjoyed it. A solid buddy/ road trip movie with a twist. Lots of movie references that were fun. An interesting twist in the end.

end got a little mushy though. But it was funny how they kind of extended the ending so it doesn't stop where most movies would. They are all left staring at each other

perry mason returns (TV movies count too, right?)

mason steps down from being a judge to defend his old assistant della who's accused of murder.
still interesting IMHO & it's nice to hear some of the best TV theme music not done by mike post.

FYI paul drake jr. was played by william katt (the greatest american hero) who was the real-life son of barbra hale who played della. that explains the fond looks he gives her now and then.

perry mason: the case of the notorious nun

an nun is accused of killing the young priest she was an assistant to.
enjoyable as always.

looked these up on IMDB & there are like 25. not counting the 2 NBC tried to do after ramond burr died to keep the franchise going.

ETA: tom bosley was a priest in this. he would star
in father dowling mysteries the next year. someone mustive
see thins & thought; tom bosley + priest + mysteries = good idea.

Yesterday I watched two harry potter movies, however I didn't like HP6, so I'm going to do this on Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2.

An overall extremely enjoyable movie, which had some really fantastic scenes. It was the second time I've seen it. I loved it so much, I'm not going to write about anyhing that happened, don't want to spoil it for anyone who hasn't seen it. Great way to wrap up the series!!

McGonagall was FREAKING AWESOME!!!! :violet:
