I started after the last movie came out and finished at New Years which was just over a month. I'm sure you could manage.

it depends on your reading speed.
the shorter books could take less than a week.
but the longer ones might take 2 or 3 weeks.

Randomer than you since 1992

Also depends on how much free time you have.

If you can read non-stop, the first three only take about 4-5 hours each.

I've read the whole series in about a week and half before.

harry potter and the half blood prince

Visually this one was so dark it was difficult to see what was going on a lot of times. Kinda a slower one compared to the last but I suppose the movie was mostly to set up the final one. Enjoyed it non the less. Not a lot of whimsey going on though. Not a single talking portrait and we havn't seen the girl ghost in the bathroom in 2 movies now.

how old are they now?

the characters?

they're about 11 in the first one
& each book covers a year. so in
book 6 they're about 17.

Battle LA
Better scifi invasion movie than we've seen recently. It was more of a military movie with some scifi thrown in. I liked having the aliens with actual foot soldiers.

Green Lantern. Flavorless. Banal. Exceptionally unnoteworthy. 5 minutes after it was over I had forgotten what the female lead looked like

Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire

So many changes/omissions from the book piss me off, but there were some good changes too. I'm probably the only person who thinks this, but I'm glad they cut Winky, Dobby and S.P.E.W. They were a bit annoying and not very important to the story. Besides, Dobby's added scene in DH part 1 was better. Also glad they cut Percy, otherwise I'd have spent the whole film wanting to punch his face in.

None of the Tasks were very well done though, particularly the dragon. They dragged them out so they could say there was action in the movie, but they were just really boring.

But the graveyard scene was really good, which makes up for it.

Harry Potter and the Deathly hallows part one

kinda hard to follow. Also, I'm sure it looked great on the big screen, but the blue ray is so dark it is hard to see. Can't wait for the next one now.

Posted ImageHot Fuzz-I havenot laughed that hard at a movie in a long time. Highly recommended. That dude who played Scotty in Star Trek is in it, although I didn't recognize it until halfway through the movie.

re-watched the bridget jones movies... cause my sis and I love colin firth...

anyway.... The second movie its almost hard to look at Zellwiger (sp).. I know its actually the character and not her.. ugh though. She walks funny, holds her head funny... much more exaggerated than the first movie.
